Thanks gotreal for the global tailings stats, the numbers are truly staggering.
This link is over 2 years old but some interesting figures relating to the size of tailings in Chile and their potential value if reprocessed, makes Zambia look small fry.

Hello Sumo,
Your calcs look about right to me for Cobalt Hydroxide.
I keep it easier for my simple brain and estimate the value of JLP's product at 25% of the Cobalt market price, to factor in the 80% WHI (payable indicator?) figure for Cobalt Hydroxide with min. 30% Cobalt.

BB2,
I believe dividendfinder may have been referring to the DM stock watch article from the 2nd

Hello Turnpan,
The incumbent was fine, so status quo if Lungu had been re-elected, the new president looks to be even more business orientated so I have no concerns with HH being elected.
The issue is, however, whether there will be a peaceful transfer of power and hopefully there will be.
As far as the Market is concerned political risk is currently very relevant.

@3CB - Agreed, JLP will never be allowed to clean up Kabwe until the ZamGov/ZMERIP have agreed how to do so in a safe manner with minimal dust. I first invested in JLP based on the Kabwe story, with Tjate as the Elephant in the room. Mind you, I never thought I would be looking at JLP, as they stand now, with the potential for their Copper/Cobalt processing.

@shuttts
Ignore the blah about JLP not being miners and welcome to JLP.
Mines can be surface as well as underground, mining involves excavation (digging) regardless as to what type of mine. Miners excavate (dig) from the surface or they excavate (dig) from underground.
If JLP don't excavate (dig) in some why shape or form then they won't have anything to process and refine.
JLP do excavate (err..dig) and they are a miner.
JLP also use diggers, I mean excavators...but of course they aren't miners, allegedly.

@Gray1 - Totally agree. The WHI update was extremely poor, looked unprepared and rushed to me but I suspect that a more professional broker note will be released by them soon, otherwise why are JLP using them?

Excellent progress again by JLP, such a promising growth company with so much more to come over the next 4 years before they even reach the summit of their current projects, let alone any new ones.
Hopefully that delayed broker note from WH Ireland will be out very soon.
