Is that the "special" Libyan balaclava with the extra hole for your mouth..?? Excellent choice there..:)
Exactly the same feeling here. Can't complain if our money goes down the pan through poor investment strategy but whilst this company had debt and outstanding covenants the goings-on today smack of a corporate con. As you point out the sheer fact someone snapped up this firm in so-called "administration" within 3.2 nanoseconds smells like my home town when the tides gone out.
Re. yours 17.59. Completely agree, doesn't exactly inspire investment fervour does it..:)
Do you fancy a quick trip to Dundee..? I will supply the minibus, balaclavas and baseball bats..:) We can impress on the Board what the meaning of integrity is.
What obligations do they hold as Administrators? Or were they happy with a large fee for very little work?
Talking to the missus at lunchtime and said things are going well...just too well..!! Got back at 1pm and had this news waiting...!! If I hear that this "new" firm benefits from any grants in the "green" budget I will personally throttle my local MP. Obviously this has been in the making for some time and shareholders have been well and truly shafted....and it would appear that the principal lender has played it's part suspiciously well with the calling in of GT. How very convenient.
So... Principal lender for AXE pull the plug...AXE keep it quiet from their shareholders...AXE allow a takeover...AXE announce administration to shaft shareholders...?? Is that how things have gone here..?
Well if we do get shafted we know where they live...or lived as the case is now..:)
Well that was one hell of a retrace. Was in AXE for the long-term, should have taken profit but didn't for that reason. Expensive mistake.
Am in for a small punt, interesting short-term past and share acquisitions. Besides...I'm a sucker for a decent company website..:)
I was beginning to think you went to the same school as Colin..:) Thanks for posting and I hope we aren't being duped here.
Agree....isn't it "lixiviation"..? I would be very concerned if the MD of a mining company got his technical terms wrong, more so than the spelling of simple words...??
If that was cut and paste, and I assume most of us would do that rather than type it all out again, I find it hard to accept an educated man or his literate secretary would release an e-mail with so many errors in it. However, since I hold shares in CMR I will hope that this was down to tiredness.
I'm sure the missus wanted to sell these, at a 20% loss, a few days ago but I persuaded her not to on the basis that a production up-date was out soon...!! I didn't think the up-date would be that they had produced pretty much bugger all...!!! We have written our money off here, luckily it was a small punt but still an expensive lesson learnt in these hard times. I can't see any chance they have managed to find a new investor over the last two weeks or over the next three. I can't see any reason why the lenders would have pulled the plug unless things were dire. I will engrave the Board members names onto my small brain now and never, ever touch any company they are involved with. Light-hearted comment in this dark hour but the Finance Director will be forever known as Michael "gone for a" Burton...and that Chairman fella looks like Rodney's grandad or that picture was taken today at about 3.10pm. I am sorry for all those like us that have lost their hard-earned and hope that you all recover your losses sometime this year. I would like to thank the Board for their success here but they didn't so I won't. Will remember to listen to the missus next time..:)
May one suggest a garlic chilli chicken with coconut rice.?? Only have £500 in so far at 1.72 so still down but only by a tad now.
Lol..!! This was the first share we bought...I am amazed the SP has moved..:)
Thanks for the further info...will certainly watch from the sidelines with this one..:)
I think CAMEC have lost only their voting rights not their investment.
