Same mid close as last Friday. Lots of effort in keeping the closing price below 9p. Plenty must be going on!

I keep an old fashioned written record of my remaining AIM shares. The growth in the value of my portfolio has been impressive and all previous losses more than cancelled. Bring older, retired and with no mortgage my needs are different and my family would be the main beneficiaries. Sometimes I can't believe my luck and to have received such a wealth of free information from people whose knowledge is way above my pay grade.

Yet, some people are selling today of all days!! I would have thought that today is a hold at the very least! Next week is likely to be a news week and, as somebody has already said, very unlikely to contain anything other than good news. Follow the money!

Maybe not but I have little faith in PXS being able to deal with the Chinese on a business level. Time will tell.

I would appreciate knowing how the MM's accumulate shares by dropping the price. Sorry if this is a basic question but I honestly can't work it out!

Why drop the price to encourage sales? I've never understood the principle behind this. Surely it could only work in situations of panic and doubt.

300k bought @ 9.275 just appeared on LSE but not on the trades page. I suppose that is a large buy at Ca £28k.

I agree. MP's don't command much respect these days and, after Cameron's shenanigans, I think most MP's would be wary of even buying a scratch card!!

Yes, it does sound like it could be a "household" name and the use of the word "honoured" could have been chosen deliberately to flatter the person concerned. All good stuff.

Perhaps the subscription price was the most the HNWI was prepared to pay especially as the price MIGHT have been below 8p when they were negotiating. Another clue is in the number of warrants given on this tranche.

A new subscription could mean new money from the same HNWI.

I wonder when the deal was sealed? The mid closing price of the share was 7.40p on 23 July but 8.70p on 30 July. At the time of the deal, the HNWI might have been paying a premium but the fairly big jump in the SP in that week might have turned it to a discount. Note the increase in warrants to 1.25 for every sub share.
