You're right. The spread has brought trading to a halt although I don't know the REAL spread. The crooks who set the prices have done, and continue to do, their utmost to cast doubt and despondency and by & large, they have succeeded in turning sentiment. Our "new" brokers PH (spit on the floor) meanwhile can't even be bothered to produce a report. They are just lurking in the background like the elephant in the room as they help to manipulate the price for reasons known only to them. At this moment, I can't think of one single reason for their appointment but what do I know?

The SP has been in decline for 6 months. Consolidation has continued the trend. I just hope something positive happens soon but the base for a bounce is getting ever lower.

Looking at the trades on LSE, there's no buying appetite at all and some large sells. They just seem to be taking it lower and lower to make a market but that's dominated by sells. Where on earth do they want it? A pound or 2p pre consolidated? What is driving the sellers? All seems a bit surreal at the moment in view of the potential. I liken this to the known situation when a long-term prisoner decides to try and break out shortly before his sentence finishes. He simply can't hold on for that short remaining time even though he knows he should have.
