I have to say that I'm struggling to get excited about today's update..

I want to believe we will get a conclusion but feel my hope is draining away slowly. I think the update on 31st May saying announcement the following day, only for that announcement to be another 6 week delay was the one that really made me think "this really isn't going to happen is it?"

I'd written this of MANY years ago so I'm 'at peace' with it now but I just don't understand why all these updates if this is long gone.. what is the point??

Ah well, lets just see what happens if we get another update today - I'd love this to come good for everyone after all these years but I'm struggling to believe it will now.

For me its a case of the longer the talks go on the better the deal we are going to get - I believe that Art knows what he's got and ain't giving it away cheaply - Sure, it could get to a point where the 'Big oil company' walks away and we start again, but I don't think that's going to happen and I think that if it did we could just go it alone or move onto the next prospective partner. Happy to wait and see what happens.. Plenty of little signs that this may not actually be too far away at all... GLA

The Company remains under strict non-disclosure agreements.

And I'd love a concrete update like "Proceeds to be credited to nominee accounts within 10 working days (or something to that effect) - Then I will believe!!

Only a couple of working days left of the month.. I wonder what is going on in the background and whether the next update will come at the last minute or sometime before?

1. Confirmation of the deal

2. Amount per share

3. Timescale of payment into nominee accounts/for certificate holders.

Irrelevant - COPL is on the main market, not AIM - If you don't even know that then maybe you shouldn't be investing here?

59613 shares at an average of 2.87p for me so a nice little bonus if it comes in at c 23p per share.. GLA

I'm sure plenty of people on here will confirm the second any money goes into their nominee account! Like many others on here I had written this off mentally years ago so will definitely have that 'found a tenner in an old jacket' feeling if it comes off.. GLA
