Thing is the less positive aren’t attacking other posters, yet the rampers are. Kind of reflective of the situation

If you truly believe that everything is as it seems, put your case forward based on the RNS and be at peace

I personally don’t think the company is playing it straight but won’t degrade myself by being pulled into arguing about it

Fact are OCTO haven’t pulled the trigger , the CEO today said they have more levers to pull before they can- that doesn’t align with them saying it’s close and does along with the belief that is why they are now speaking to more

This reminds me of Lorna Belisse at HE1 - absolutely out her depth and got dragged around by third parties. Feels like same here. the CEO should take an executive decision, and go after these new better deals

Why would you say’ we have better terms’ and then go with Octo on worse terms whilst saying we are doing what’s best for shareholders

See they just say stuff without thinking it through - again that’s the problem with promotors and not sophisticated executives

What does Andrew Scott bring to this table? If they are looking after shareholders , sack him

ECR BOD think this- let’s keep the share price suppressed so we can maximise our gains later down the line. We paint th picture of taking salaries in shares but that isn’t at premiums , they know the upside here is capped once/if they deliver everything

Maybe that’s the plan, over promise , under deliver, take salaries in shares low as they can to build a bigger pool, add a ton of options at low prices (can’t believe the BOD have never justified £500k of options) then once fully loaded, actually deliver , resign and sell out!

It’s just one big pay day for the few and the rest are just caught in the middle, you just want to be sure your riding at the right time or it’s a long road

Everything has been non binding and they havent had anything on the table in Feb from the other 4 parties that have had 3 months looking at whatever it is they are looking at

again, its not that a deal wont get done, but its a long time away- remember i said this wont get done until H2 ie COMPLETED.

Its ok when your a promotor ramping 10-15 stocks, people forget a few ramps here and there

but in nov when all the boys were ramping and the interviews and everything, then slam with the placing

now they want to distant themselves from focusing on the very thing they focused on to get the price up in the first place as it wasnt going higher on operational stuff and they got what they needed from all the ramping, which was money they wasnt going to get from the tax losses

I think they misunderstand that people know "the game" to "trust nobody" and this isnt "a team sport" "the market is designed to take your money" remember all these WWE type sayings that people used to eat up!

Nonsense. they dont have to enter into any more agreements with companies when they already have a buyer. hence they wouldnt have to let anyone know.

What i dont understand is this.

Forget the tax losses, is BM is this cash cow, that is funded via existing resources (the placing) why dont they just put all resources into BM, get it into production that then generates $2m a year that washes the companies face and then sell the tax losses to the Right party.

they dont want to make the tax losses linked to BM progress but then kind of are too.

the messaging is so mixed and that is summed up in todays RNS

Personally, I think todays RNS is purely to cover up that the OCTO deal wont happen this month and they will then say they have other parties, its the blow before the blow

Much better to come clean now on the intentions, go after the better deal. Let that take aslong as it takes whether that is 1 month or 12 and focus on becoming cash sufficient via BM and stop all other works and expenses until that happens

Get rid of Nick and Andrew, who really dont have any value here and get a mining guy into the board.

Maybe they can start by executing the land sale for £60k as a show that they can do deals

Come on BBN- they have more work to do in the field, then they need to find water, staff, get machinery etc etc

again, just be realistic its 6-12 months, its going to take 3-6 to do the above at best. there hasnt been a solution for teh water issues yet

So my question is that ECR have had FOUR other parties under NDA for 2-3 months- Why have none of these come forward given the dynamics of the market?

Well it didnt complete in Jan and BBN just said that and he is speaking the CEO

Deramping is wanting the price to go down- i dont care what the price does

the boards are for debates- ive never said the assets are poor or they will never do a deal

ive simply stated that everything is being positioned as short term and its simply not the case- everything is 6-12-18months away

Octo are dragging their heals, why? when this is supposed to be a red hot deal, kind of suggesting that its either too complex, they dont have the money or not everything is as it seems. WHo knows? but if the deal was brilliant they wouldnt be dragging it on

The company ramped its price and placed with 10 insiders, no excusing what they done it was dirty and poor poor form and that shows their true colours, they care about themselves and their mates, and arent mining guys, they are promotors, hence all the puff

putting that aside, the Tax deal, if they have a better offer, great- just go with that- why mess around with Octo? why say its only a week away from completing but we have 6 other parties? BTW 4 have been under NDA for months and havent come forward- SO WHY ARENT THEY COMING FORWARD? forget the other 2 that magically come to the party

With BM coming into production (6-12 months away) why dont they simply stop talking about the tax deal, cancel talks with Octo and get a deal done when the time and deal is right rather than saying next week YET two buyers have entered the ring, so we are just not sure yet

As i said last week, they guys are making it up as they go along and are showing their naviety in doing business

The CEO has never been in this position, Nick is not a mining guy and Andrew Scott brings nothin to the table at all

Thats part of teh issue, they simply cannot execute

Was suggested that the company raised money so any buyer knew that wasnt desperate, well thats just nonsense

they raised money as sensible they knew the tax losses would take months and they needed the money to progress operationally

THE ISSUE once more is they keep spinning these fake positive lines rather than being respected for saying

Look we raised money with 7-10 retail investors as we want to do the Tax deal BUT simply need time to get the right deal and in meantime its obvious we need funds

The biggest issue for ECR is they are trying to spin investors

Todays news is another SPIN- its obvious that if they were confident that the deal was completing within 1 WEEK- they wouldnt start two more conversations

NOW its all well and good saying BETTER OFFERS but the other parties have only just signed NDA (as per the RNS) AND they have offered anything (otherwise it would be in an RNS)

Feels like they are playing a very dangerous game OR just arent playing straight

either way it all feels a bit smoke and mirrors and the market isnt buying it

Issue also is they only have a handful of merry men from the placing that are 20% down, THAT NEED it higher

the rest of us see it for what it is

You wouldn’t start more conversations at this stage if you was 100% confident that the deal was currently going ahead

Its taken 2-3 months to negotiate this deal, start with another 2 parties your looking at H2

Clearly the existing deal isn’t working out whether that’s the buyer being slow, ECR getting a better deal or whatever

But its stinks that it’s falling over and if ECR can get a better deal they better get on with it and stop
