I think we will know when the markets have gone completely crazy when TEKs stake in BELL is worth more than the total TEK market cap.

Yes, this is a common pattern with TEK. We get these lulls in news and people get impatient and then suddenly a lot of activity. We are definitely due news now though.

We could do with an interview with Cliff. How long has it been? Could do with an update.

I think it makes more sense to talk down the stock after you have sold and not 2 weeks beforehand.

Belluscura was valued on TEK's books at about £2 million prior to the IPO. Suggests when these companies reach IPO they kick on a lot.

Always exciting to see Bell going up though. TEK can't stay down if BELL moves.

TopCatz, Wasn't it Druckenmiller who said about the eggs in one basket? Anyway i agree.

Still not wholly convinced about the shock absorbers. Mercedes just hit 1000km range. I am not sure how much of a concern range will be when you get to those sorts of levels.

I am much the same way. For a while TEK was the only stock that i owned. Both because it was ridiculously cheap and because everything else was so high. Since then i feel comfortable buying into other stocks as well, as those names have seen >50% falls and TEK has made up some of the ground.
TEK is still my biggest holding though and we should be reaching the sweet spot of this rally shortly.

Stu, I feel like a lot of stocks are undervalued out there. A few stocks are wildly overvalued, especially in the US, but think a lot of the market is worth buying.

I imagine TEK have the most accurate up to date information regarding Belluscura.

Hi TopCatz, the funny thing is the significant undervaluation thesis makes sense even if you take out Guident completely.

I think that it does tell us something. While the Lucyd IPO was muted, the announcement today suggests that sales etc are continuing to go according to plan, and they will have something to show off come the IPO.

It is reassuring to have Bell such a big part of the market cap. When they IPOd i had penciled in 200p so still think that is on the cards.

I think the others will go much the same way as Bell, which given we have a bigger stake in those, should mean even more potential. They seem to be more fully valued when they get their own listing, rather than just being one of a number of portfolio companies lacking exposure.

Absolutely right Seaman, the first major order is the key one. Same goes for Guidant of course. Clients like to see others go first.

I think with the shock absorbers, they may just not talk about it if it doesn't come to anything.

Looking forward to the Belluscura numbers in particular. Seems like the sky is the limit given the quality of the product and the extended duration of covid.

TEK getting caught in the general sell off of absolutely everything today. Even BELL was down 3% and it is a major beneficiary of any covid resurgence.

Hi Stu, there can be many reasons why an investor sells. They may need the money for something. They may just want to realise some profits. It can be also that they need to rebalance their portfolio after such a steep rise. This is especially relevant for Institutions, who can have rules in place which limits their concentration in single stocks.
So it isn't always as simple as thinking that they have gone negative on the stock, especially as they remain large investors here.

I find it confounding how the share price moves given the daily buy sell orders. Like today the volume bought is much higher than that sold and the SP is down 1p. On other days there is more selling and the MMs put the price up.
I suppose the LSE are miss allocating sells as buys but still...
