I think I'll take your advice and go make some loses, don't know why I bothered making any profit today.

Just because you go in for a trade in one stock, doesn't neccsasarily make you a trader. You can be long on 2-3 stocks and then have capital to trade a few others. I might trade this then decide to go long, I may decide to go long in a few mins, it's a situation that keeps changing, don't knock people for trying to protect their capital.

There's great potential here, possibly for £2-£3 and I wouldn't knock anyone who isn't selling, you just have to be careful, some people buy on the tip of the rise and then the next day they are 20% down.

So I can buy back cheaper, if I can get more shares at 65p-70p it's a win win, if I don't manage to get back in, no big deal, I've got a few positions in different places that I'm comfortable with. Anyone who's been following the Covid-19 stocks has seen a big bounce on interviews or blog posts, but until we get some news via RNS, then nothing is certain.

If I end up paying a premium and having less shares, then so be it, stuff happens.

I bought at 60p and sold at 73p, I might be back in later if it stabilizes, I've seen it all before it's too volatile, however this is a massive development, to be on Sky News provides huge exposure, it does need a RNS to back it up though.

It's difficult to judge, like you said, watching paper profits disappear and selling too soon are both awful, I personally like top slice 10%/15% of the holding, just to bank a little profit.

I agree, with the bank holiday coming, if you lot think this is exciting wait till tomorrow afternoon, everyone will be rushing to get to the beach before the sun disappears, and I'm not talking about Brighton or Southend.

Another thing to note is it's not another one of those companies with a ridiculous amount of shares in issue like 750m-1b, there's only 205m, so loads of cake to go round.

If all the potential products live up to expectations, that £350m mcap seems bloody cheap right now.

Normally I'm not one for sounding rampy but what the heck today's an exception, surely £2 is coming tomorrow.

- The market didn't absorb the RNS fully, everyone saw this new name in Medusa19 and felt shafted

- The usual psychology I've seen is that a 'stop-gap' RNS, which is the one's before the big one is due, is sold into by current holders as newbies pile in at 8:00am for the FOMO

- Some holders purposely sell at 08:00am to buy back in cheaper

- Few hours later everyone soaked in the news and realised how good the RNS actually was, it pretty much confirmed the authenticity of the product.

- Then a few hours later everyone suddenly remembered that the test isn't the only product this company has on the table, realised £1.40 was a support level and that there is huge potential here

The share price doesn't always reflect the news on the same day, it takes time to sink in as sellers panic to get back in, new buyers load up with the opportunity to get in cheap. The overall trend is that the price has held very well and found a good support level at £1.40/£1.40 with a few attacks at £1.50. This is good news and shows there is good sentiment towards Avacta's ability to produce good results.

It’s more about the multiple tests required in different settings that is the key rather than the amount we test, when sport returns that will be a big market. Most of the Formula 1 teams for example are based in Britain, if the test is publicised well there will be so much demand for multiple tests per person in one setting or at one event.

That’s where you read between the lines Scottie, you don’t form a new company and have the CEO sound so confident if the tests were unlikely to get approved, it’s only a matter of time.
