I think things are starting to add up now, the timing of the placing with no discount, the Flanks RNS with seems very basic and 'rushed, and the end statement "Further announcements will be made in due course".

I have a feeling this first news of a bid is super close now.

Some of you were saying that the places shares are being sold this morning, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me for instutional investors to put down $10 million at 22.5p to only sell it off 27p/26p. Plus don't the shares come to market on the 31st anyway?

If as some people say they knew Flanks was coming, then surely there's an indication that they've piled in the $10 million with a possible bid on the way.

I think as a few others have said, if we get the Flaps tomorrow, then first news on bid must be days away, it also ties in well with the timing of the placing with the instutional investors.

These latest games have been going on since the placing RNS, the spread has been so big, yesterday at one point I thought an RNS had dropped because the price suddenly went from 21.8p to 23.0p.

A lot of people will be back at 3PM, wouldn't be surprised to see a push towards 24p if the rumours about Flanks dropping tomorrow get started again. Tomorrow afternoon will probably be the big one if there is no RNS tomorrow morning, that could see a breakthrough.

Timing could be interesting, if that is the case, it could suggest that Flanks is expected before 31st August and that any potential sale will occur after, interesting next 2-3 weeks ahead. Can't emphasise enough about how you can't afford to be out of this at any time.

So true, and all this stress, but you fully well know in the final hour of trading it'll probably go back up to 22.5/23.0 as people return from other shares during the day to get back in before the weekend, it's been happening consistently every week since we returned from suspension.

Sorry if my question doesn't make sense, what I'm trying to get at is, but where does the MM benefit from keeping it contained when it can't fill larger orders if people are less likely to sell at this level?

If that's the case that they are struggling to fill the large buys, would they not want to move it up? Don't know if anyone can explain how it works and why keeping it at this range is beneficial to the MMs?

It seems like as soon as they let it go, they can't contain it like we saw on Friday, then the FOMO begins as people realise they could miss the boat.
