The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Not one but two of @poorinvester’s posts are no longer here (the two that I refer to in my comment at 1345 today - I said one was at 1306).
They were particularly nasty but I’d expect nothing less from him. Verbal abuse is what he does, while claiming to be the victim.
Maybe he’s in a bad mood because he’s lost so much money in CINE. But he’s like this all the time so maybe he loses money on the stock market all the time. That makes sense - he clearly doesn’t know what he’s doing while thinking he does. That’s a recipe for being eaten alive on the stock market. Oh well, what a shame, never mind.
@poorinvester - “I have announced when I bought this and announced when I sold.”
You’ve been challenged on this before, by others. You SAY you have announced when you’ve bought and sold but haven’t given any evidence of that. When challenged, you just stamp your feet and repeat your assertion that you did, like a child.
Go on then - produce the evidence. Like I did, quote where you’ve supposedly said this AND give links.
As shown in my link below, you don’t do this. You make assertions while refusing to produce evidence and trying to fob people off with “I said it”. What else would I expect? You’re called BillyBS for good reason.
Oh BillyBS, if only you would keep your promise not to speak to me.
You insult me (and others - I’m not the only one) - it’s the hallmark of low intellect and an admission that you can’t find fault in what I say because it’s true - so, thanks for the admission.
I have held a light up to your verbal abuse and BS and you hate that. That’s why you you insult me. I lap up your insults - you are judged by the company you keep so your insults are a compliment.
It’s hilarious - you, the man who can’t even spell your own name, call me an idiot. The man who struggles to string a sentence together. The man who actually said (this is a classic): “Wolf, I have been in business a long time and I explained to you a long time ago, I’m an expert in maths.”
Yes, to become an expert in maths, poorinvester thinks you just say “I am an expert in maths”. He’s so dim that he doesn’t see the flaw in this.
It gets better. In the SAME comment he wrote:
“Let me simply fly for you...”
Both condescension and low intellect in a mere five words! Poorinvester, you truly are the gift that keeps giving.
Your insults are projection. Read your comment again - it reveals so much about you.
“CloudyMountain, I am not going to have a debate with you, so consider this my last post to you for a while”.
That’s at 1306. A mere 10 minutes later he addresses me with another comment! We know we can’t take your word for anything, BillyBS, but I didn’t realise you’re actively trying to prove it. Cheers!
Billy, because I tell the truth and can produce evidence to back up an assertion (unlike you refusing to produce any evidence while doubling down on an assertion), here’s the comment that I quote from: https://www.lse.co.uk/ShareChat.asp?ShareTicker=CINE&share=Cineworld&thread=623B78A7-8E97-41A8-9FBE-7354CADD330B
@poorinvester:
“I think it is very rude of you telling people what to do with their hard earned money, so please stop it.”
You’re up to your old tricks, @poorinvester - not telling the truth. You made this identical allegation before, I challenged you on it and you couldn’t substantiate it because it’s untrue.
Unlike you, when challenged, I can produce prof by quoting the relevant comment. Here’s what I said (on 14/4/23):
“… I’m not telling you what to do with your money. On the contrary, when we chatted in the autumn (well, I chatted to you and you were verbally abusive in reply - hey, some people are naturally obnoxious) I said people are welcome to spend their money as they wish…
“…Please, please, please put every penny you have into CINE. Then go out and get a loan and put that in too. If you had a house, I’d say remortgage it and put that in but I reckon that’s optimistic.”
Please tell me you did that. It’d be so funny if you did! We know you’re nursing massive losses anyway - it’d just be a shame if you hadn’t put your money where your mouth is.
So, there you are, proof that you’re not telling the truth. Yet again. What next? Oh, yes, you claim you have made a profit even though the SP is one-third of what it was when you said it was a buy, LOL. Of course you did, Billy BS, of course you did.
@maxamillion101. Marks give money to Nigerian princes long after multiple people have told them they’ll lose all their money.
Never underestimate the ability of people to deceive themselves. You can’t fix stupid.
“You topped up here yesterday!”
No, he SAYS he topped up here yesterday.
@poorinvester, you’re clearly hurting after your massive losses. I’m not surprised.
Don’t worry - you can always claim you sold. Hey, why not go one better and claim you bought on lows and sold on highs all the way down? Then you could explain away why you thought this was a buy when it was 300% higher than it is now.
@maidit308. You said:
“I mean what other reason would
a person of reasonable intelligence have, to constantly post on
a stock they no longer hold ? it's a no brainer'' as 99% of investors
that sell out of a stock, tend not to post again ever, and normally
spend there time & thoughts, posting on stock they do own”
==================================================
To educate themselves about human psychology and self-delusion. It’s fascinating. You should try it. It might stop you investing in the next basket case of a share, and throwing good money after bad.
I’ve done this myself many times now - following the forums in a share that I believe is destined to fail. I’ll post, giving warnings. People just don’t want to know - they are often abusive. They are determined to lose their money - and they are successful in that. It’s like telling someone who’s sending money to release £100 million from a Nigerian bank that they’ll lose it all - they don’t thank you. They tell you you’re wrong.
That’s regarding people who follow a stock and post on the discussions even though they’ve *never* held shares in the company. Regarding people who have held shares and have subsequently sold, it’s not at all uncommon for them to continue to read the forums and to post. After all, many people who sell don’t rule out the possibility of buying back in later, so it makes sense to keep their finger on the pulse.
@WolfofWarks
“Not too sure how I’ve made the numpty list :)”
I don’t know either. I’m equally unsure how poorinvester didn’t make the list.
@Stopcrying, you are not being rude.
I’m sorry to hear about your loss.
Losing £5k is unpleasant but not irretrievable. You’ll get it back on other shares in the future.
People always say that and it doesn’t make a difference. If you ask the average person walking into Cineworld if they think the company has been unfair to shareholders, I’m confident most would give you a blank look.
Take it as a lesson. The writing has been on the wall for Cineworld for ages. There will always be people who invest in bombed out companies and then write literally dozens of comments a day on forums predicting that it’ll be raining unicorns and gold bullion this time next year. People who claim a few months later that, yes, while the SP has plummeted since then, no, they didn’t make a loss - on the contrary they bought on a low and sold on a high because it didn’t go down in a straight line. People who say, yes, they announced that buy and sell when they executed them but, no, they won’t give links to them, accompanied by insults to try to scare you off. People who say the share is even more of an opportunity now that it’s fallen by another two-thirds because now you can buy three times the number of shares for the same money.
These sort of people will always exist. Take it as a lesson and you will recover your losses on other shares in the future, and you’ll learn to spot a doomed share and the purveyors of BS by the bucketful on the boards.
That’s unfair, @cambridge130. Here’s a recent post from the finance guru who knows everyfink, poorinvester:

Mikodx, you are not the brightest of spark's are you lol? I would accuse you of having an agenda but you might think that is something you buy in the shops. I always announce first, you need to keep up. Wolf full well knowns I do, he is just annoyed, l've exposed his short agenda and CINE might head further north
tomorrow.
ATB”
The price at the time he wrote that rubbish? 1.305.
Notice how he accuses others of being dim while demonstrating that he’s not at all bright.
He’s too dim to see the irony in “you are not the brightest of spark's are you lol?” LOL indeed.
“CINE might head further north tomorrow.” Well he would say that, wouldn’t he?
“They must of all bought in. Things what folks do for money lol.”
LOL. Yet another quality post from poorinvester.
“61% increase is even funnier“
Oh I agree, it is. Let’s see if you and poorinvester can work out why. Sorry, I mean, let’s see if you can work out why - @poorinvester could never, it’s way beyond him. He’s still trying to learn how to spell the most basic words including his own name.
“Tegop, best of luck mate, anything can happen hear.“
Yes, he is. As a box of rocks.
@poorinvestor - puts £1 on roulette, brags that he’s put £10,000 on, and genuinely thinks he’s investing and that he’s bright. LOL.
@poorinvestor
“Has there been a leak?
Is the decision favouring shareholders?
Is this going over 10p?”
Your questions, @poorinvester, betray your ignorance. It’s funny.
Want an example of Billy BS’s proven BS? Here’s one:
“@poorinvester, that was easy! Thank you for admitting, by being unable to substantiate your false claim, that you are wrong (which we knew to be the case anyway). You are as bad at telling porkies as you are at the stock market. And maths. And spelling.??I didn’t expect that exposing you would be so easy but then I underestimated your doltishness.”

Well look who it is - it’s Billy Bull$hit!
You’re making another BS claim about how wonderful you consider yourself to be, your “evidence” being a claim that you do not prove. You’re called Billy Bull$hit for good reason.
I quote from my recent post on 13/4/23:
“I agree you’ve made a lot, just not of what you say. A steaming pile of it. We’re laughing at you because of it. ??*We also know you’ll claim to have made money even when this is delisted, as dips and rises beforehand are guaranteed and you’ll claim to have bought on the former and sold on the latter, typing ever so boldly while the tears strike your keyboard.”*
