Havieron revenues30 Mar 2021 15:59
Hi all - First time poster having been following GGP for a moderate amount of time (12 months). I've had a go at calculating revenues from Havieron to GGP based on the MRE. As many of you eagle eyed viewers will see, I've used Bamps' calculations as a template for mine. I get some slightly different values, which I find interesting. Would love for some of the more knowledgeable posters to correct me if and where I've gone wrong.
Using the MRE values of: -
18mt @ Au3.8g , 0.6% Cu
34mt @ Au1.1g , 0.15% Cu
Overall 52mt @ 2.2g , 0.31 Cu
52mt over 9 years = 5.7mt per annum @ 2.2g/t ÷ 31.1 = 403,215oz x $1000 = $403,215,000 per annum for gold.
5.7Mt/pa again @ 0.3%Cu = 17,000 tons
x $9,000 = $153,000,000
Total - $550,000,000. Minus 10% to allow for the 90% recovery rate = $500m approx
GGP Stake is 30% of that @ $150,000,000pa or £120,000,000 approx
On a more conservative basis, not using all time high commodity prices-

5.7Mt/pa again @ 0.3%Cu = 17,000 tons
x $7,000 = $119,000,000
Total - $320,000,000. Minus 10% to allow for the 90% recovery rate = $300m approx
GGP Stake is 30% of that @ $100,000,000pa or £80,000,000 approx
Even though my calcs come out slightly lower than Bamps' $229,000,000pa to GGP. We can still agree they're some pretty juicy numbers; given the relatively small 4.3AuEq MRE so far.
