How does it drop a whole days gain on no news and no large sells?!!
There's two of them who have improved their open position to get out with less losses, I guess. The other 3 will probably do what they usually do, take a much bigger position higher up to off-set the loss they are carrying forward. That said, GLG have made a lot of profit in the recent months, so I wouldn't be surprised if they just cut out at some point.
As long as our buyers' are in and we are moving north, these short players will be constantly chasing their positions, and will have to eventually give-in or default on their terms with the broker.
Good luck JG, and all in similar position! I hope you get your maturity price (£1.50)
Although I hope you get a lot more, and we should believe after everything - PFC is capable; the employees just need to do the right strategic moves to get the non PI's in too!
I have a price target of £2.10 to exit.
So it looks like the investors want to hold and shorters' are probably looking to buy back their huge volumes which I guess is possible if there is enough people willing to sell on the demand of such volumes.
At present, it does look like the price is pulling away quicker than they can close, unless the data tables are behind by several days. I think the smaller holding short players have been coming out and therefore the overall 11%-12% is reducing daily.
In the last few days, the sentiment has been to test the 65p to 70p - it looks like and as we are edging closing, although some resistance.
I suspect we will see more buyer holders' driving the price higher. I guess this also means the shorters have to buy-back a lot higher and therefore, the PRIME BROKERS (the ones that have shares for loans) will get their pay-day for betting against them.
In short, this is what we want and, once again, if.... JUST if, PFC have something in the bag waiting to be released and the firms like it, we are well set for our minimum value of this company £1 plus!
It looks like buyers' are holding AND more buyers coming in, resulting in the effect I (we) was hoping!
I still think we will see good 70's this week and building to 80's within 2 weeks, especially on a good presentation and closure of 2022 on 27 April. However, I still have that funny feeling that something (big) is about to get released soon.
Does anyone else think this too??
The Banking facility is more important than the market realises - especially vs. the current share price.
Cineworld crashed last year mainly due to very poor debt management and now need Court Approval for new liquidity.
PFC have done extremely well to get the mega deals and then demonstrate to the Banks/ Lenders that they are on the path of their true company value - a £5 plus stock for those that can hold next few years...
I strongly believe the market is now realising PFC potential and the steady upward SP is reflecting this; albeit the BUYs and demand are NOT a true reflection of what the SP should be now!!
haha. Thanks, Confluence.
We have to be optimistic right - we invested because we saw a value and opportunity for growth. I do believe we will see that, but when - time will tell us. I can see the news and events are more different now. :-)
I know you will. It really is just a matter of time now with this stock! We have come a long way in 18 months, especially the last 2-3 months!! This is the game changer point now.
I feel for all those who have big holdings and long term investors. We know from recent news and events PFC are trying, and really trying to do all the right things to make sure they are not over-looking anything (EY), announcement on 12 April.
I think it is very fair to say that the current share price is only because of those 'borrowed' shares being used. I can see nothing by BLUE and BLUE - BUYS and BUYS. So I will control the words I use on here but those small group of shorters are absolute sc*m. We will get our day, and they will go running back in to the ground!!
100% agreed David.
The content on the RNS today is very different to the past - the actually made a difference to me - they said things that I wanted them to do.
1) Although we are changing the date to 27 April, we have a very good reason - it's a business justification....
2) But, have faith everyone, we have already said the numbers for 2022 so don't expect anything worse.
This is clean and clear - plain English - and a lot of us will appreciate this, me for sure. The SP has already factored this in and we are now on recovery, and many of us feel this. If we think this, so must be everyone else, just based on probability.
We are in this for the long run now - let's give PFC the support they need (hold and/ or buy) as they will need this now more than ever.
Thank you Accountant. Really appreciate the insight from everyone as always!
It's good to remember how we feel about the company NOW is all the matters. The doors of 2022 is pretty much closed and PFC are SHOWING their actions have value - that value will be realised in the share price.
Again, I also feel like they way they are building up news and events, PFC have some real material difference for us, and should definitely get the short traders thinking (get out) and go LONG with us.
Based on the way PFC have been managing the company recently, especially after many of us have written to them saying they need to be more clear and consistent - I think PFC are listening. They have:
1) Given 2022 numbers as early as possible.
2) They have explained the reason to move to 27th April.
As mentioned by some and I am sure on thought's of others - I feel like PFC have some news up their sleeve to send this stock to £1 plus very soon!
The confidence of the company is building up and the City will appreciate the extension allows PFC to focus on doing engineering for O&G as pose to dealing with constant admin.
Based on the recent events, I really think PFC have demonstrated confidence and ability to take this stock back to £2 plus!
Excellent News!!
Looks like PFC are preparing well for a good end of year closure. One and a half year extension and I am pretty sure the Banks will know about the future deals too in order to do extension!!
We should expect this should to be in good 70's by end of year results, which as I mentioned will be more of a "as you know we said the numbers were this and now we can close 2022 and move to 2023 with...ABC and the deals of XYZ..."
Excellent News for a Friday!! SP is up and going north now!!
Makes sense Lewisham - I was also thinking that was probably the reason too. Thanks.
Good and informative posts everyone - thank you.
Just thinking out loud, but would there also be an expectation/ need for TenneT to be 'fair' to the market and distribute work across as many potential companies as possible? As much as it would be amazing for PFC to get more deals, wonder if due to market conditions, they are spread to help all corporates as much as possible?
It does look like this, as there is nothing to suggest a down price right?!
There is only one factor or issue we have been talking about (shorts). It will become very suspicious if it does drop on no news or for no reason at all!!
Thank you - I am hoping/ expecting we get to 70p range by Monday/ Tuesday next week. And then in to high 70p to 80p next week onwards...
Indeed Maverick. British Bulls.com have been on BUY (stay buy) for past few days now, with comment:
"You may relax since our STAY LONG position is secure. The market action does not cast a serious doubt on the wisdom of going long."
This is a very strong statement and says a lot.
Following up on last comment and reporting of what is going on with this stock...
I just have to ask - how is it possible that all the shorts have always been able to get back to the 'open' price (50p/ 60p range), despite SP moving far ahead, 85p plus on 2-3 occasions?! Despite the fact on several days, buys have been more than sells, yet price struggles to move up, but the pace at it moving down is without logic or reason on many occasions.
How is it just possible for a stock market that is 'free-movement' to be able to COME BACK to a price of these shorters, JUST SO THEY CAN GET OUT WITHOUT LOSSES (minimum losses etc).
If they can decide and 'control' when our investment should go up in value - surely that is something we should be looking in to more?!
Thanks Johnny - this is very important step and hope more of us are able to raise concerns like this.
I don't think shorters have any good intentions in anything they do. They are fuelled by greed and causing chaos and destruction!!
