Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
Hi Maverick - thanks.
Just curious, is it mandatory for these orders to be filled? As in, just because someone with enough money wants a particular price, despite the fact the SP has moved 13p / 14p away, they can still sit-back and relax knowing someone will manually bring the price down just so that person/ group of people can get a nice low price?
Well Maverick - as long as there is NO IMPACT to shareholders or long positions of PFC, the £2.20+ is extremely welcomed by everyone that is a investor!!
100% DW2016!!
Something is definitely not right!!
I knew something was up when we started moving down from 76p /77p!! A lot of us were expecting 70p range hold and moving to 80p range, on the basis off everything that has happened; TenneT contract, 2022 closed, EPC contract!!
The shorters were so far off the mark to make money with loss position and now within days they are back to a lot of profit position.
Very well said JG68.
I think the real issue is WHO is setting the price and the them manipulating the prices. Otherwise, the shorters are just like everyone else, taking a chance and hoping for a direction in their favour.
12% drop in 5 working days - on no negative news - really??!!!
The MM's should have kept this SP well in to 80p range and going to 90p now. On what basis do they think it is worth this - that is the main question!!
Why the hell is it in 60p range - most of the analysts expect the SP to be well over £1. The fact that big contracts don't hold the price, we should be questioning this.
There is confidence in the company so the why is the SP not being reflected on this point of view. Just because the shorters haven't made their money??
There is NO WAY the shorters can tell the future - so how is the price always getting to what they need to profit!!
Funny how we are near the 'fair value' of simply wall site- 65P!!!!
Funny how the shorters kept increasing despite big contracts coming in.
NO ONE KNOWS THE FUTURE - SO HOW ARE THESE LOT ABLE TO GET THE PRICE TO WHAT THEY WANT ALL THE TIME????
I see buys and buys, outweighing the sell, so how does the price go down when the demand is clearly there.
We are to believe that sell has more value than buy?? This logic does not apply to other stocks, so what is so 'special' about PFC?!!
Thanks, Maverick!
I think the frustration a lot of us feel is that the sells (no matter how small) seem to make MASSIVE difference and the BUYS (no matter how big), does f-all. That is not the logic of a free-market, and this has been happening for a long time.
Everyone knows value in shares is from upside so when such strong demand is there, why are these FDH's doing that.
Exactly DW2016!!
Just on the page I was on now had around 100K in BUY and around a quarter was SELL.
That's bloody 4:1 in BUY favour, so how the hell does the price drop!!
Absolutely CSB - no reason at all. And it always happens after the shorters take new positions.
I think I read at least 2 -3 people already logged shorters/ MMs abusing the markets for PFC.
Has anyone managed something like this before? This is a really good idea.
These shorters are comfortably doing whatever they feel like and there's people helping them at our expense!!
When is this supposed to bounce back? We seem to have lost c. 10p in 3 to 4 days?!
Thanks, Maverick - appreciate that! :-)
This drop makes no sense to me. I think a lot of us were thinking there would be a strong push from today.
Those saying MMs are helping shorters, is my thinking too. How is it that the shorters price is always achieved for them.
No one knows the future, but this stock seems to always get to the shorters price - especially on NO NEGATIVE NEWS.
They have all managed to get back in the blue, and the fact this SP drops for them is a serious cause of concern. This is not the first time this has happened and the only question that remains, is why it needs to happen.
Some people have raised FCA cases on this, so it better get looked in to!!
Yeap! Let's focus on the reality of PFC; strong foundations with great returns.
As for fair value - these will change all the time, and it's based on a specific model/ type of calculation (purely accounting). They don't other key factors in to consideration - I am sure they have caveats to cover this off.
Most analysts have price target for PFC of well over £1.50 plus, and one has gone to £3.00.
Happy Friday All.
There has been big drop in UK markets today, to be honest.
shorts took a position based on the global financial situation, primarily seems to be driven off US Fed and Europe CB doing constant f-ups, along with the other CS's.
These central banks are complete f-ing d*gs, and don't have a f-ing clue what they are doing!! Making people pay more money on interest, doesn't mean they are spending less - it means they are spending more on interest - FULL STOP!!
They claim 'interest rate increase' is supposed to encourage saving. How the F do you save, when you are forced to give on mortgage etc, and have the same difference left in bank account, if not less.
I don't like the shorters one single bit, but they have read the markets and gone short on many stocks, ALTHOUGH - PFC has been resilient and can easily jump on sudden news. Based on what I have seen lately, I feel like PFC have got news to release on strategic basis - meaning when they need it the most - which could just be at times like this. Just my thinking....
Deffo - we need the finished ideally 72p. It is just ridiculous how this drop this low with nothing to show for it!!!
Good morning to all!
PFC is no longer in the list of the Top 10 most shorted stocks in UK - about time!!
I should think GLG might try to close out soon. Qube is probably trying to get new positions.
Hi Sm66 - you are welcome. It has updated now, so I think I checked after you.
Yes, agree - to be honest my friend, these complete DH's had more than plenty of opportunity. They can still manage their losses, but if they keep testing the limits, some of the might find themselves with a trading book.
Some shorters went against the Tech sector recently and lost combined $18bn dollars. Good job on them - nice bonus coming their way... lol
