The share price drop opened the doors to new investors, curry crisis is a blimp on the map created by panic buying and media hype, ASOS are just covering their backsides with a downplayed forecast, but considering going into 2022 we have literally millions of young people desperate to get out and party the sales of clothing through Asos is going to make a massive increase, they have beat the high street and the new moneyed and emerging consumers are familiar with online clothing.

Considering the now near dominant position that ASOS has as a brand they are in a very good position.

price drop had already factored in potential product bottlenecks, so the drop today looks like the market forcing the price further under value to buy up low.
looking at the sales they are mainly PI rather institutions, imagine once the market has filled their bellies with cheap shares the price will spring back up to stop lower costs shares undercutting future price rise, as such looking at 27's again in fast movement into the week

way oversold over the past few months, and now their results are out and they have dealt with the worst news of shortages, seems like the price was a kicking down from lots of circumstances out of their hands, and going into 2022 they will be in a better position and time

brand is still in a good position, and well liked by consumers, the delivered a good years revenue/profit.
the current shortages are temporary based on over supply, the retails and market are balancing that back out to lower demand and longer delivery times, and this wont have a long term affect on Asos. If anything they will be in an even better position than their highstreet rivals.

looks like a tree shake and panic selling on the news, and appears all the sells are being eaten up fast, should calm down and stabilise then naturally rise back into the afternoon. considering even the warning on revenue next year this is way over sold now

realistically could see them push through the merger this year while the industry is still getting back up and running, that way they can further review internals and make cost reductions on overlapping costs and go into 2022 with a stronger position before Easter - Summer sales cycle.

Also with Andrew Andrea becoming CEO, (previously chief financial officer and corporate development officer ), his time with Marston’s has included a period in the role of operations director for Marston’s Pub Company during which time he pioneered the franchise agreement which is now widely adopted across the pub industry.

Most recently Andrew, project managed the disposal of Marston’s Beer Company covering all aspects of the transaction, both financial and non-financial, as well as co-ordinating the SA Brain operational agreement last year.
