Hey Jimster, Marston was already a target for take over at 100 by US equity firm at the start of 2021, and Marston turned this down!
This is a great sign as show that Marstons can see the company being worth more.
Marstons are a relatively safe company with a strong revenue stream, that's why I keep buying chunks and forgetting about it, as the only way is North!

taking all things into consideration this really should be sat up in the 80's currently, this is a great buy time

i suspect what is happening is all the cheap shares bought at 23 are just being slow sold into the market at the current elevated price, the buys/sell ratio is very close, and no material reason why the sudden move north.

can see this pull back from the big boys what cheap shares or run low on new buyers, this should cool and drop for everyone to top up and buy back in

Strong results and looks like a longer term return of profit

could see a big buy coming to consolidated and average down, been a good drop, however taking into context of previous price and longer term market conditions then can see a big player buying a big stake to help average down, would not be surprised to see afternoon spike after being held down all morning to clean up all the sales for a large buy.

well it doesn't seem appropriate to be looking at putting dividends back in this year due to very obvious reason (C19 et al), however imagine they are looking towards 2023 as a time when this would become back in focus.

either way, taking all things into consideration, they have performed brilliantly the past couple of years, have the carlsberg partnership locked in, and building a better pub estate to grow into the post C19 world.

because they are online retailers facing roughly similar market conditions and production bottlenecks.

Hi Jiimster, Ive still got a block from 2020, so a long term holder, and have just bought more to add to my holding.
Long term, very bullish on this share, they are in a great market position and in 2022 will be high gearing to profits.
Things are looking fine, however in the short term there naturally is a level of conservative market action.

However, looking at the price currently, this is way oversold now and due a bounce, can see some aggressive purchasing happening soon while still at this low price with the big bucks looking at a 6 month time scale.

There will most likely be a pull back to 24 region with those that bought in 23 taking profits, wait for the drop and buy cheap, we still have a couple more cycles of shares holders before the platform is built so longer term climb back.

good price to get in, considering we now have the festive sales cycle ahead and this company are in a good position relative to the market.

Share will swing for a couple of weeks, so either hold and chill, or play the swing trade game. Either way in a few weeks this will level up and even out

Honestly I think this will drop based on the amount of holders in massive profit, the auto sells will trigger and it will drop fast, if it goes below 850 then it will land in 780 and start to climb again.

Share is too young still, this needs a major cool off to build the longer time stable platform.

give this a week of share cycling, we need to clear and buy up and sales of shares that were bought last week to build the platform for growth.

can see approaching 30's again mid Nov.

the price drop already factored everything in, doesn't stop the fact the company is making money and is established with a strong user based.

i want to buy some, but feel that the price target i set is still in sights soon, seems a tad overbought still with too many early investors sitting on massive profits which they can pull any moment.
this share still is in volatile land for a while.....
