It's most unfortunate the way the economy is affecting some retail stocks, folk just stop spending so much.

Maybe food producer for airways etc. Bakkavor is a good recovery buy with their 2.77p dividend going ex this Friday 16th. They have recently posted strong results.

Having read their positive results the other day, I note there is still time to qualify for their 2.77p dividend going ex this Friday 16th.

Unfortunately the current market sentiment has pulled stocks down in price, so Pantheon was bound to see a pull back too.

Any buying into this share should be in small amounts, in case the company decides to go private. There has been comments along this line by brokers news pastes in the past. Element of big risk to consider if thinking they are at a bargain price.

As already answered 25.7p dividend is highly thought off, but they posted robust results, and there is still time to ensure registration pre 30th September. £ 128-50 per every 500 shares. Terrific yield. Payment around 4th Nov. So time to hoover up some more I say.

Management have been responsible and given shareholders plenty of time to decide whether to bail out, for they could be left with close to nought. But some sharp investors have also made a serious amount with some dead cat bounce activity. This chapter 11 bankruptcy is still pending, but for how long is a dangerous thought if still highly invested. I observe The Daily Mail link has already been posted, & I was impressed on reading the Saturday Mail, especially as the article said that most house builders had halved in value already & they highlighted PSN & BDEV as maybe the companies to buy into now or fairly soon for recovery.

Much of the bad news may already be reflected in the shares – which may be why the consensus of analysts rates both Barratt and Persimmon a buy.

Like what I read this morning, have been awaiting an update like this. But for new investors there is plenty of time to climb aboard, for their next update might be in late September. I see some big selling trades going through. This means that waiting a week or so their is less chances of getting burnt. For us patient investors all we can do is hold ( up to 12000 shares) maybe. The market is also on the way down it seems !!

There could still be a tick up of the sp if the market gets a green day for a change, however expect the share to fall back & maybe become more a bargain in the mid to late £60's.

3) Abundant good quality reservoirs.
4) An ultimate non-permeable oil seal that occurs at 7070’. Oil bearing cuttings are
not observed above 7070’, and oil is analyzed in every cuttings sample, both
Sealed-at-Well and Lab-Loaded, below 7070’ to TD.
5) A seal within the oil-rich zone occurs at 7480’ separating a shallower from a
deeper compartment based of different oil compositions above and below 7480’
6) Elevated Helium is observed, in part confirming Theta West’s excellent seals.
7) These results are in complete accord and supportive of AHS’s previous analyses
of cuttings from Great Bear Pantheon Talitha A well, as well as AHS’s study of
Shelf Margin Deltaic cuttings’ samples from the Talitha A, Pipeline, Alkaid,
Merak, and Alcor wells.

Pantheon hit £1 - 75 6 years ago on some exploration success, but this find, plus their prospects now are outstanding.

(Sharecast News) - Hydrogen power technology developer AFC Energy announced on Monday that an agreement has been reached for the deployment of a further 'Power Tower' fuel cell generator system, in support of the decarbonisation of a London-based construction site.

So on 11th July - At 1401 BST, shares in AFC Energy were up 6.87% at 23.02p.

It was £15 as having been in near their lowest at £ 62-40, I do reckon a pull back is due approaching their £28m dividend payment approach.

Having picked up by some £15 a share, I do wonder if the selling has started already as they pay their generous dividend 11th Sept. This costs them around £28m !!!

So M L have sold a chunk & who can blame them at the last 48 hrs rise. £2 - 29 a far better price that the previous offer, when a lot of investors sold - quashing the dividend. Poor deal then considering today's price. Guess they wanted their funds for another use eh ! The huge billions from India we did not really see as investors. It was very poor. Nice price to sell out today though. Market is iffy, so expect £2-30 to be the high for some time.
