Posted it a couple of days ago but fwiw here's my suggestion for a new deal with FIG -
70% of take at previously envisaged $75 a barrel but instead of remote likelihood of actually getting anything at all, they are offered a deal which transforms the chance of Sea Lion happening.
Reconsideration of business plans by Premier is wonderful setting in which to re engage with FIG on basis of 'we're no longer doing this unless ...' .
Deal is FIG get, say, a quarter of current royalty, tax take up to $30 a barrel and SAME as now for any price in excess of that.
Infrastructure spend etc on sanction is obv unchanged so still also get basically 100% of anything they ever would have got in early years anyway.
Breakeven price for project moves to a lot nearer $30 than $40. Even that already includes a very hefty return to equity.
FIG would never expect to be the only participant on the oil sector in the whole world who's terms of business are unchanged over this crisis anyway.
No brainer, FIG probably anticipating the conversation.
Would be transformational for the project.

Of course makes no difference to Gozziesky. He doesn't hold any of these.
