I'm hoping this will exceed expectation and hopefully Bamps input at your meet last night will have supported this. I doubt I can hang on until ore production at Hav, let alone first gold pour. I know the lead up to that event will be a huge but I just hope the catalysts before then with the resource estimates, with us drawing income from Telfer, progressing Hav and listing on ASX will provide at least a half-decent return for those of us who may not last the full journey.

Well that's interesting TT. Fidelity totally screwed me over in the ISA I hold with them. They are custodian of my 1.5 million shares but couldn't presente with the retail offer. They subsequently took 48 hrs longer than most brokers to reopen trading after the share suspension when the retail offer occurred. My efforts to buy in having missed out on the offer were kicked down the road making me at least £3k worse off having missed the lows after the offer.

The complaint I submitted 10 weeks ago to them was only recently rejected (as I knew it would be). Funny old world what with them seeing their own profit here.

HMHB, I'm in a very similar situation to you. Now with an average of about 7p. On paper it looks a bit foolhardy for me to have kept buying as I'm so overweight here that the drag effect on my overall portfolio has been significant. I don't know what effect "getting the keys" will have on its own but perhaps a small uplift? I am hoping that in short order we get those fan drilling results that Bamps mentioned as it's all about income now until Havieron comes on stream. Realistically I would like break even (above 7p) before Xmas and more is possible depending on the news that SD has for the markets. Move to 9p before ASX with news on vent shaft progress, ponds etc, Aussie institutions get on board and I want to be in a position where I am at least 100% up (so 14/15p) within 12—18 months. At the moment that is far as I can hold this stock as I will need to release funds about then as things stand. Unless that is some of my other stocks multi-bag in which case I would love to hold this longer! 🤞

This update is extremely welcome as the price drift was creating unfounded rumours. Hoping we begin to get a sense of new buyers on board with a steady climb to ASX and beyond. Next trick for SD is to pull some rabbits out of the hat which in turn are pulling a few extra gold carrots (carats) out of the ground.

Farm in news for the oil play would be useful as however positive the rns this morning, the drill programme will need funding. The more uplift we get on the potential in either venture the better the protection we have against dilution. Dilution is sometimes necessary so I'm not knocking it, I'm hopeful that anyone already in at less than today's SP will be able to ride out any dilution that occurs further down the road. The initial findings will hopefully enable the drill bit to find the best possible targets and whilst there is still a long way to go the prospect of us being in early on the journey is what is so attractive to highly speculative investors.

I guess it's the feeling that timelines always slip, but that said even if I don't get what I first hoped for I am better off in life than some and I can have a relatively comfortable retirement compared to many. I have (and still do) think that this will become huge, it's just the niggle that it hasn't necessarily been one for what I sense is the demographic of significant number of PI's, but through circumstance of life I don't have following generations to benefit in the way that many others on here perhaps do. That is a regret of sorts which makes a nest egg to see me through declining health my main priority, but what will be will be. In spite of my rather glass half empty posting at times I'm grateful for what I already have.

I hear you Trippy (quite famously I was regarded as one when I first posed lol). There are those who are either simply trolls (or most recently baiting across boards to get their own back) or occasionally some who have nefarious motives. I understand those who don't want sentiment dragged down by genuine but worried/peed off holders, but there is legitimate cause for concern at times when the bottom never appears to bottom out!

There certainly are some trolls on days like this, but respectfully I would also suggest that people already underwater seeing themselves go further underwater have the right to vent, even if long term the pain may eventually be eased. I do think those who bought at 2p,3p or whatever and who were still putting "strong buy" in their opinion box when this was over 12p might just place themselves in the shoes of those who bought at 20p or have averaged down to anywhere near the recent lows. The language has changed and the timescales to realise anything like a semi-decent return are fading into the horizon. I personally want at least my stake plus the 30% on top for the 4 years of high inflation that eroded my invested money. My break even is about 7, but my real break even is 9p with inflationary erosion and if more people looked at that inflationary loss it would be scary just where most are at. That is why the price of the retail offer (which many could not take advantage of), felt like a kick in the preverbials. A bit of empathy would not go amiss while we hold and hope. We do not all have the time left to see three years plus from here to cash in. Yes to Telfer cash flow but timescales slip and the Havieron 2027 first ore date seems an awful long way away if we factor in delays like we know occur. Hoping for 6 months of newsflow for everyone's sake.

I can't even remember what the first line of my last post was meant to read. These pop up ads keep pausing and restarting my typing so unless I re-read every line either erroneous words get inserted or it reads weird. Either way it wasn't a pop at you Bamps. It was meant to imply that you are entitled to your point of view on that share but you to your credit don't berate people by visiting that board. The cross contamination here was self-inflicted by one regular poster here and it continues. I have made my views clear about both parties. Both are in the wrong

These people be Bamps. You don't go on that board and antagonise like others do. That is the problem over there and it has brought 'the problem' back here. I have made my position clear on that stock. I bought on a punt. It gained 200% and I withdrew my initial stake so all else is a free ride. No down side. If it fritters to nothing I haven't lost but instead there is one on here who is constantly antagonising and preaching to people who know the score! Completely ridiculous when that person made endless posts about people doing the same here. Let people invest as they do and keep out of other people's decisions as you chose to do. I doubt many GGP holders have spent more than 5% of what they hold here on that stock. If they are wise they will have done as I did. In fact the experience here served me wonders. Speculate on a commotion and withdraw your initial stake on that tidal wave rather that on the receding tide

On another note at the current SP I felt obliged to average down yet again. Now sub 7 but realistically this needs to reach 9 plus just to offset inflation to break even in my case. I'm unsure that simply getting the keys will do that but I look forward to income figures. If we get additional drill news beyond Telfer from other tenements that would boost confidence somewhat. My aim is to reassess my portfolio at ASX time. As said before I can't hold this for 3+ years unfortunately, if only I could!

Ever please give it a rest. I've asked MH01 to stop multiple times on the other board but antagonising everyone on here for the sake of getting back at one individual does neither board any favours. You are both too stubborn but get real and please don't continue to drag things into the gutter. There are a good few who frequent both places and who are getting ticked off with both of you

Feels like we've been stuck under an anticyclonic gloom for 4 years rather than two weeks. Here's hoping a bit of golden sun does the trick. Got a bit of a catch up to do to mind for those of us in since early 2021. Hoping against hope that we push on before the 2027 prize though as I'm going to need to cash in before then unfortunately. It's forced many of us to go overweight in this stock for far too long. Wishing all those LTH's who have held and increased their holding over that timescale the best of luck.

Stupid comparison. I have no risk. It's like me buying a ticket, winning the same amount back plus my initial stake, withdrawing the equivalent of that stake so all risk is gone. Now I can watch the equivalent of my initial outlay do whatever it does. You don't have to be super bright to learn from other AIM experiences. If that money goes on to multi-bag I will be laughing. If nothing happens here I have no loss. No gamble. No down side. Of course I hope it will do well and watch with interest over the coming couple of months...

Whilst I have averaged down considerably and continue to drip feed monthly into GGP in my ISA to even out fluctuations I'm also mindful that the increasingly long term nature of this share has considerably eroded those sums due the buying power reduced by inflation over those years. £100k in 2019 needs to be £133k in todays money just to keep up and make no profit a all. Even 12p in 18 months time is well short of most expectations a few years ago. Dips telegram post was spot on. Lessons learned. I'm reasonably confident I can still make profit (even taking into account inflation losses) but not having kids this was my pension booster and so far it's not paid off in my intended timescale. I feel more sorry for those who couldn't average down and are just hoping to break even. There are likely some still in the 15-20p range on here and that is tough. The lack of time to take advantage of the retail offer affected many without ready funds, albeit I am still in dispute with my ISA provider who has still not resolved my complaint about the offer and their slow pace at enabling buying once the suspension had been lifted. For those with kids and grandkids this remains a decent prospect but there's no question the timescales here have rolled over PI's who were intent on a 4-5 year investment. It is not as easy as saying "sell up if you don't like it", you have to play with the cards dealt and recognise that PI's are not at the forefront of anyone's mindset now regardless as to what is said. Why would we be?

Can everyone please just report him and not retaliate on the GGP board though? I know he behaves in a totally hypocritical way but let's rise above it and report and maybe ultimately get a ban - at least from this board
