Barely up on yesterday's closing price. It's going to take a few consecutive positive news articles to give the SP a pulse. I'm still not topping up yet. I'll stay content with my larger buy (for me) just below the placing.

Someone wake me up when this hits £1 lol

I'm waiting for the SP to stabilise a little. I think under 10p as a next buy in point is good. Then hope for a big move upwards

@Jrlomax There really wasn't any news prior to the placing, and none since. If you look at ODX they wen't from 20p to 104p on a pump and dump. Now trading at 5p... ABDX hasn't really operated the same way. There hasn't been a pump, yet. Just a gradual erosion of the SP. If news is posted the DHSC is resolved and some positives about future contracts this will bounce. It's just a gamble if any of that happens

What hype? If you didn't want a rollercoaster, why are you in AIM?

Exactly what I'm saying @alwayswinning. The SP short term is irrelevant as most haven't researched this company. They just think it's a covid stock and have written off it's future prospects and thus are selling their shares they bought in the PB placing now they see it's down. I bought my shares based on where I think it will be a year from now, and I'll be buying more now it's this low. Just waiting for a bit of price stability to indicate a bottom.

Unfortunately not. I'm an investor who's currently 50% down from my original buy in @24p. I invested based on ABDX being a large contributor to the UK diagnostics industry. I already think they missed the boat on covid profits but I'm young enough to not need a crytal ball as the what the SP will be in 2 weeks time. I guess you're somebody's Mum?

Another big drop! A month ago @Rick123 told me I was"not funny" for saying the SP could hit single figures, were now 3p away. This unfortunately is AIM all over. SP can hit 5p then jump to £1 a month later. Either you believe in the companies long term prospects or not. If you don't then why buy at all! If you do, buy and stop checking the price every 30 minutes. It could take a year for ABDX to hit the placing price and another year to get to its IPO price. REMEMBER, Abingdon were a profitable business before covid, they have a market outside of the pandemic so they will mst likley come good. If you think LFT's and dignostics in general have a future then top up when this hits 7p!

The more this drops the more I'm starting to think there's nothing positive to say about the companies future. The board lumped in hoping to increase investor confidence but without any sales, no contracts, no product (that works), no payment from gov that's owed, the board have no news to give that's positive. If they know something we don't they had best chime in soon else we'll keep watching our investment disspear. At the least they could update us on sales of non covid related products

@pumpky Can you please explian how BoD can take the company private at more benefit to them than shareholders? If they obatian a gov contract, take the company private, then rake in obscene profits surely that's insider dealing?

And before the critics start calling me a deramper I've over 50,000 shares in ABDX. I'm just expecting to hold for longer than hoped. I still think by year end with some positive news this will trade at 50p or more.

Investing in covid is a bad idea this late in the crisis. Rules may remain but general interest is waining. ABDX, as said by many others, is not just a covid stock. It's a manufacturer of LFT's for many other things, as well as covid. Covid may or may not be here to stay but having rapid test LFT's available to prevent the spread of similar pathogens in the future will be something governments and corporations will be mindful of. So expand your time horizons for profits as this will likely remain a dead donkey until either 1) there's positive news or 2) there's yet another variant and/or another lockdown etc

Perhaps 20p then up and up LP (fingers crossed). This stock has me scratching my head. I'd be just as unsurprised to see this hit 40/50p as I would 10p. Their doesn't seem to be any real information as to why the price was being driven down as to why it's now rising. Fundamentals are sound and that's why I'm invested. I just think patience is key as any positive news will see this jump up quickly. Hold for gold !!

Still no news. I think we will see 10p before any positive news. Then it'll have to rise 150% to get back to the placing and break even for most is much higher. Think this is becoming a dog with fleas lol

To sell the company Pumpky they'd have to agree a price per share. If that's below the price they bought their own shares (say 22p), then they'd still lose with us wouldn't they? If they want to make a quick buck then do it the Elon Musk way. Make a bunch of future promises and constantly pump positive news getting retail investors to keep buying...

Shareholders keep dumping. Will continue to slide if BoD maintain their silence. We're all waiting on positive news but we could still be here in March with nothing but crickets and SP 10p or less. Directors must care about their own money, surely?
