Post Covid isolation a lot of people are struggling with mental health problems. Spamming a board for no reason is normally evidence that person is in a bad situation. Riling them up isn’t going to stop them spamming, but it might bring them closer to doing something harmful to themselves. Can I ask how you use the filter option?

Investing isn’t for everyone. A quick look at the breakdown in mental health of a certain individual posting on this POLY board tonight is evidence of how psychologically stressful it can be. I’ve already reacted negatively to one of this persons silly posts and I’m disappointed I did. This person may well be suffering from more than just losses. So don’t do what I did and instead ignore or engage kindly and maybe we can help them in their time of need… what they’re doing may be a cry for help

Have to say I’m puzzled Grant that you think trading opening on moex makes any difference. Poly has always traded there and volume is small, much like US, so I don’t think the impact will be anything like you expect. Maybe SP jumps up and down a bit but fundamentals don’t change and company isn’t connected to VP in any negative way, like Evraz, who has VP’s close buddy as a 30% shareholder.

I agree HD2U. A price drop on almost zero volume doesn't indicate some insider selling. It's just a price drop to encourage buyers to match sellers. The SP may as well be ignored in the near term as until it moves on something significant it's just numbers. No point walking away as at this MC we could well be a buy out target for someone larger and considering the actual asset value (plus money owed) they'd likely pay something close to the recent offer price of 25p (not that it will help those who bought higher).

I'm not sure next week's results are the news we're all waiting on. We need an outcome to the GLP case and some significant pre orders. Could be mid May before we get the news we're all hoping for.

That gives great confidence if they’ve added. They are access to far more information than most of us so if they see a good risk/reward play, it probably is. How much is a Bloomberg terminal these days Grant? Or do you get access for free through work?

They might do on the sly. It’s an investment firm after all. Goldman made a killing shorting airline stock post 9/11. Why would BR be any different? Think grant has a Bloomberg terminal subscription so he probably has access to things we don’t

Could just be someone adjusting for risk. Might have loaded up on the lows and now overexposed so taking some back and waiting for higher SP. Who carers really. Minor movements now are to be expected. Won't affect the whoosh on positive news

BR are so massive they could swallow the loss on POLY for PR's sake if they didn't see long term potential. They will hold under the radar for long term. No reason for them to sell

Very few catch the total bottom. 190 is a good average. Mines 183. I managed a big slurp at 92 which brought it down from 250. It'd be nice to get to break even soon

I'd ignore any short term price targets. Peace might be this weekend or in 4/6 weeks time. We won't get significant gains until after Russia withdraw and sanctions start to fade away. Probably the biggest gains will be had when another news story captures the middle classes attention and all this gets forgotten. Remember that Covid thing that was all over the news for a year or 2. Still around but not a squeak from the press now. Best to be invested for when the gains materialise

If the stars align correctly LP you'll be able to add an extension the the manor house or another few acres of land to the country estate :)
