keeptofacts - I am a private punter with a mere 1,135,000 shares who wants some chance of getting back some of my investment half would be nice.People will be able to meet me at the March meeting the virus permitting.

I have just come off the phone to Barclays & have voted No for the two resolutions.I hope others will follow but I will not be attending the meeting for obvious reasons.

Hi SL100 - I was so glad to have read your post & so agree with you.Voting Yes gives options voting No leaves no options except insolvency.I have invested a certain amount of time on this board today wishing to pass on my 50 years as an accountant working in the Public & Private sector including Biotech & wanted to pass that experience on.I actually can understand the anger but not the direction some wanted to go.I believe the directors have had a shock & if the first meeting approves all motions they then have to face the second meeting.I am sure we will all see a change.I say Vote Yes.

shirleyfraser - Maybe the directors have reduced their salaries but were advised not to say.Ask the question at the March meeting & we will find out.

With regard seeing 'Boris' at No 10 I know people including my son who been to No 10 & going to No 10 does not necessarily mean seeing the PM for the meeting.However In my sons case he & a team of people met with a minister & Cameron popped his head in at the end.

keeptofacts - No sir I am not deluded all of you who are going to vote No in the March meeting are deluded I am an accountant with my feet firmly on the ground.

shirleyfraser - I suspect VAL have supported the company & one of the first areas to go for in order to reduce cash burn is to reduce salaries which we will not see until the next results are published.Ask the directors at the March meeting & then make your decision.

As an accountant who has worked in Biotech & in companies facing insolvency I can categorically tell you that if at the meeting of the 25th March the company motions are not supported they will instigate winding up proceedings that day unless they have an 'Angel' in the background.
The directors would be exposing themselves to all future debts because at that point in the time they will not have 'reasonable expectations' for any future fundings.
Support the motions in March or face a company going into liquidation.

It is quite clear that unless at the meeting of the 25th March 2020 shareholders approve all the companies motions there will be no meeting held on the 14th April that todays RNS relates to as the company will effectively fold on that date.I for one will be supporting the motions on the 25th March & hope others will do the same.
The directors are saying 'support us or destroy the company & the science'.
Its a 'no brainer' vote to support the company on the 25th March & then you have an opportunity at the next meeting no support & no meeting on the 14th April.

Hi Yorkshireboy I have worked in Biotech & also invested heavily in Summit (SMMT) now on the NASDAQ having invested £50k also at a great loss but has gained 18% since early Feb. 2020.With regards Val I am at a loss of £4.8k & believe if the science is not broken support it.In my opinion to have got to phase 1/2 trials Val has achieved a great deal & yes it is costly.
I understand the view of the 'Angry Investors' but at any stage they could have Sold & got out years ago.In my opinion I would rather the science was allowed to continue rather than kill it & for that reason I will be supporting all motions & I hope you will be able to do so if you are an investor.

Hi oldblue1973 - I totally support your post & I hope like me you will be voting in favour of all the motions as I am doing.It is
'the science what matters' which must be borne in mind.We do not know how deep some of the 'Angry shareholders' pockets are & if they are investors/traders who have profits elsewhere & can for tax purposes absorb the loss.I cannot absorb any tax losses at the moment certainly not in this tax year.

I am an eternal optimist Dracula1 & someone who does not want to throw his money away however small - my pockets are not deep.Voting on the basis of being an 'Angry Investor' for revenge is not fair on those wishing to support the company.
The 'Angry Investors' should just Sell & take what they can & leave & to allow us to give the scientist another chance.
I have worked in Biotech as a 'Interim FC' & have seen the scientists at work in their laboratory's, understand the huge costs & risks & is why I am supporting Valirx , why I am voting for all motions & why I will be attending the AGM & will put my hand up to support Valirx as required.

I note from looking at the EU website that Status is still ongoing so until that changes the balance of monies possible owing hangs forgive me 'Hangs in the Balance' & I had another reply from them on Tuesday afternoon telling me :
'As already mentioned in our previous e-mail, more information on the outcome of the Action will be published on INEA’s website once the administrative closure is finalised. The administrative closure for this particular Action is still ongoing, and will be finalised shortly.'

I still support the company & will be voting for all the motions but decided to add to my original 110,000 shares cost £3,705 additional shares of 110,000 for £49 including charges.In addition I have 915,000 shares cost £1,541.
These sums of money do not seem much to some of you 'Angry shareholders' but I want to give the company another chance & would ask that you also give the company a second chance too by voting for all the motions anything else is absolute madness however much it might make you feel good.
