Use some critical thinking guys.
Alexei doing that tells us one of three things :
1. It's not happening any time soon and he does urgently need £8m.
2. He either thinks it is not going ahead at all or is going to be less than 29p.
3. Something else is going on.
Pick your option. All valid. As with everything else here we do not have enough information to make an informed choice. We're not investing, this is purely gambling. Our gamble is simple, will it sell and if so, will it sell for more than we bought it at.
Very fair point Funky. I've given you a recommend for that.
The point I was trying to make is that buyers will pay the very minimum they think they can get away with. I'm sure EUA want $4b, NN want to pay $800m. From there it's a battle of nerve and will. Given then metals are in a bubble, by the time the mine is running they might be worth a lot less. It's a very complex deal.
Given the lack of information we have, the only concrete value we have is that Alexei reckons 29p is good value for his shares. Whatever his reason for selling, the man is not stupid.
DORE, you are correct.
FLYB was valued at 16p, taken out two months later for 1p.
SXX was valued at 24p, taken out 9 months later for 5p.
Takeovers with a 500% premium are surprisingly rare. The argument here is that nobody knows the actual value so the SP is irrelevant. All those guesses are equally good & bad, anyone promising £1 a share etc... is simply plucking a number out of the air.
B1ll, you are entitled to your opinion.
I just don't share the view that a random bunch of people with very little official knowledge of a resource can accurately value it. Those numbers are pure guesswork, with additional bias added it based on what people dream of having.
Please don't lump me in with Rowka. I had him filtered for months until about an hour ago. No wonder you guys were angry at me!
He's clearly trying to rattle you all with stuff not connected to EUA. He might get an 18p buy in later this week, he'll not manage to talk that down to 12p so don't worry.
CAW, "Been a good year and a bit in here" as in it has been good holding EUA since Oct 2019.
Bought in at 3p, top sliced after suspension, sold out at 24.8p. Better than bank account interest.
I've got too many plans for the money made to risk it on a blind bet. As I say, no reflection on the company. It's just how it is.
There's been a marked improvement in the companies social media use in the last couple of months.
CAW, I've been in from 3p. Quite happily.
I've now been looking at it with fresh eyes as if it were a new investment. Taking the DFS and Alexei into account, would you invest in here?
Tilly, with all due respect and courtesy, the fact you are in here from 1p means your level of risk from here on out is virtually zero.
The people with averages in the mid-high 20's have a totally different level of risk to you. It's not all shipmates and camaraderie for them as they watch their investments shrink.
Like it or not, we all put a lot of weight in your posts (fair play to you, I would find that very tiring). Posting "huge support from institutional investors" when it is demonstrably not quite the case, is a bit careless.
I haven't called anything.
I might be the biggest muppet on AIM by next Friday, I'm sure you'll then all be too rich to think about me!
Last weeks events stink the place out. If you don't agree then crack on, filter me.
I am exactly the same. Small investor filling my time in lockdown on here. Just trying to make a wee bit extra (recoup Tally losses, which I now have and hope you have too).
I wasn't posting because I had nothing to say, it was all good. I was here through the muppet tweeting, many months of suspension clarifying the relationship with CITIC (still none the wiser about that), the speeding ticket (justified, as it was to stabilise things), darkelf and God knows how many other seriously dodgy/irritating characters trying to bend thing to suit themselves. People may think that of me, that is up to them.
I've mainly been waiting for info on reserves.
Having been in Tally, do you not think we should be asking questions here when we've got a DFS we cannot see and an advisor flogging his shares to an II which may or may not be an II?
(For this that don't know, LION was a gold mining company that wanted to launch a digital, gold backed currency. Now called Tally. Out of the blue they suspended the shares and locked in everybody's shares, before delsiting. None of us have been able to access our investments since. BODs do sometimes do very weird things on AIM.
LION is in no way an indication of what may happen here, BTW.)
