I'm assuming the 'eye tracking' tech referred to here, that is 'coming soon' (IR cameras already present), is ours rather than smarteye? The car itself sounds pretty good and the level 2 tech functions on highways, which makes me think it's us.
This article from end of April says SM tech is now installed in over 30,000 trucks. I'm assuming this figure doesn't include mining trucks, but maybe it does?

The car sounds nice and even better is that our tech is inside

By introducing BlueCruise in a high volume (900,000 annual sales) vehicle like the F-series, Ford projects sales of some 100,000 vehicles by the end of this year. The technology will be rolled out to other Fords in coming years.

Hi seeing 2020 - yes I just noticed that. Though he did also say we would *possibly* win waymo as well.
I believe he called that SM had won waymo, on twitter, when that further BDMS related RNS dropped in June 2019 .
Great to see SM DMS in a waymo car at long last. I spent many days over a year or more looking for exactly what Colin has discovered, to no avail! But, I think many of us on here thought our first customer was Waymo when BDMS was first launched in sept 2018, with an unnamed customer being announced. This is of course another call correctly made by safestocks and I recall goldenboy dropping lots of hints lol (whatever happened to that guy?).

I agree jazzinhouse and updownwego. I don't even know if true level 3 is feasible based on the human factors research conducted, I thought that was still up in the air with level 2 and level 2+ being the future nearer term. Then there's the issue of smart motorways and what happens if there is no hard shoulder for the car to pull over on to in an emergency. It's probably not something politicians think of. No doubt map data would ensure that any semi autonomous car would not be able to operate in autonomous mode on such stretches of road.
Looks like SAE level 3, hands fee, semi autonomous driving is now permitted on UK motorways. Max speed 37 mph lol at the moment. Wonder if people will join the dots as to what is required to keep the driver attentive here.

My first reaction after returning from work and seeing this was surprise. Simply because our current cash situation is pretty good imo. But it's obviously disappointing that we've had yet more dilution. I take comfort that the additional shares to be issued represent only about 10% of the current shares in issue. So, it's not a disaster. When I first purcashed shares here in 2013 we had 900 million or so shares in issue and some of the prior dilution has been pretty brutal. Specifically that last fundraise in early 2019 when the total number of new shares issued was about 1 billion or so! I was totally deflated on that occasion. I felt like I had been punched in the stomach!
The positive is that we now have what I think is a sizeable US investor, along with more funds. To have a sizeable US investor taking a positon in an AIM company is a very positive sign I think. I do hope that the company starts to tie up some auto contracts with serious monetary value ascribed over the coming months to justify this dilution. I think they will. No more fluffy RNS please, but contract wins with value ascribed. Maybe even Mr safestocks will start to come out of his depression when this happens!
This publicly funded project, led by Bosch, partnered with VW and MAN Truck & Bus. It lasted for 3 1/2 years and now appears to have concluded. Who's DMS tech was being used here? Given our publicised links with Bosch going back over the last few years, surely it is SM tech?

Yes, the company just needs to let it's progress and results do the talking. We know from past experience that well crafted PR videos cause short term rises in the SP, which is ensued by a fall that then disappoints everyone.
