Makes a point of mentioning conserving cash which is pretty much the approach taken by Hemogenyx in setting up its own clean rooms. Cancer Research UK currently list 3 CarT therapies at Phase 1 and Phase 1/2 clinical trial stage. Hemogenyx, as most know and JHFH reminded us today, have their own proprietary CAR T therapy. Why is the link below important? It highlights that even at the Phase 1 stage Cancer Research UK attach sufficient importance to these Car T therapies even at the very early clinical trial stage.
Hemogenyx is just a short distance from embarking on its own clinical trials and will/should be part of that Cancer Research UK CAR T search list. This will give Hemogenyx the elevation it needs and the SP it will then deserve. GLA

Mr I if your cup was a little half full sometimes you might have picked up that Astra Zeneca purchased Neogene Therapeutics for $320m cash on the back of Neogene getting approval for it's 1st clinical trial application from a Dutch regulator. This is what someone is prepared to pay in "cash" pre -clinical.
Considering that is the stage Hemogenyx is approaching through it's IND application, I would have thought that valuation (albeit an acquisition is not necessarily not where Dr. Sandler is heading) was a reason to be encouraged, not downbeat. To be fair, he has always stated that clinical trials is the value stage. GLA to you and all.

JHFH - glad you could access the content. I haven't got through it all to be honest and probably won't but there are good observations within it, so thought worth sharing. There will be an end point for all us as investors but at the moment I am in, I'm staying in and I am leaving the speculation on the peaks and troughs hourly, daily and weekly to others. There will be plenty of welcome distractions over the next month so January will come around very quickly and as you have said work will continue in the lab. GLA

Slowly but surely and getting things right is critical. One blip now and it will set us back terribly. I think it is also worthy of comment that Hemogenyx is aiming at being a BioPharma not just a Biotech company and this means more processes to go through directly as a company with his own slim team of experts. Indeed, at a time when Pharma are releasing shed loads of staff and some of their pipeline because of costs, Dr. Sandler will be producing stuff in house and will not be charged exorbitant amounts by bigger companies, those in search of revenue, doing the work for him. Whilst money will be spent, it will not burn anywhere near what it could potentially if we were not set up to do the critical work internally. What's not to like. GLA

Well you are posting this morning HH so at least the clinical trial was successful.

Just a suggestion Mr I but one which may lessen your frustration going forward. Sell a tenth of your holding in Hemo and invest elsewhere and make that your daily focus. Put Hemo in the bottom draw and re-divert your attention or frustration as well as spread the financial risk. If necessary make the same decision the next month and again the month after that and so on subject to prevailing news at the time you make the decision. If things improve at Hemo you abort the strategy. Essentially you will make a slow transition to a new opportunities but still keep your foot in Hemo to some degree as time passes. This is based on some assumptions and I would not want to offend but it may be a more sensible transition the dumping the 8m or so shares you have only to be extremely frustrated by another share or worse absolutely gutted if Hemo deliver. I wish you well. GLA

I am comforted by the fact that Hemogenyx have a few things simmering and possibly even coming to the boil right now. In a depressed share market generally, there will be investors looking for a company / share that has a strong prospect of bucking the malaise that exists out there generally. If good progress is reported there may well be plenty of new buyers looking for a new place to hold their reserves. Hard to avoid being impatient but hang in there guys and gals. GLA

An interesting article detailing expansion by a subsidiary company of WuXi ATU with whom Hemogenyx have a commercial relationship to progress Hemo Car T. Not directly related to CarT but nonetheless comforting to know that the business associations being developed by Hemo are with growing companies. GLA

I would add that if Hemogenyx receive funding from Biodefense this would be a massive "government level endorsement of their product. I think this would put us on a better base SP despite continued MM trading until major product progress is announced as has been said. GLA

I think a Half-year review to June 30th is not where I would necessarily choose to bury significant steps forward. It is nothing but a positive update on progress but I would not rule out another very specific and detailed RNS hot on the heels of this one. GLA
