Yes did well because I sunk most of my money in at 0.28-0.4 rather than 1.4 etc.
Not pretending to be a genius but all I can say they have made me money and can't see that changing.
Can stick it in cash and get nothing or stick it the FTSE 100 and get not much so happy to hold.
As I've repeatedly said this was an African IO company; they've performed miracles to still exist.

As most of you know I've taken a big punt with Keras and it has paid off.
I have however over recent months reduced my holding but I've still got lots of them, I guess more than anyone except Management.
Even though I am an IFA and have a Stockbroker qualification I don't understand all this technical stuff.
Quite simply I trust these guys, hard working talented and genuine

Management are putting their money where their mouth is and I think the market will recognise that.

Isn't it because if you already held Keras stock you could keep your CAI stock.
However, if you had CAI stock elsewhere it doesn't mean you can transfer them in.

I don't think either it is wrapper sensitive; same principle applies to pension.
In summary you can hold CAI stock as a result of a demerger etc but not transfer them in.

There is no CGT between spouses
Or if you die, but that seems to be a bit serious way of avoiding it.

I moved my Alliance Trust account to AJ Bell on your advice !
Nice easy online trading system and can deal in CAI shares so happy.

I sold all my AJ Bell CAI shares ( still have a load with Stocktrade which I can't sell ) through my normal account
I got a price of 38.5c and 42c
These were the shares inherited through the KRS demerger

It wasn't but you can sell CAI shares with AJ Bell on ISA, Pension and Dealing Account. I have all three with them.

I have mine with AJ Bell & Stocktrade.
Can trade the former but not the latter.
I have sold a few CAI recently with AJ Bell so I know it's fact.

It will do with the Settlement system
If your money is with Crest you won't be able to trade.
So they may have quoted not knowing what system you are on
