.........for simpletons like me please. Is it the gold price in £ or $ terms that are relevant. Ordinarily you'd think the former but the money is never repatriated.
I sold my holdings a few months ago; one of my better decisions. Was concerned that they couldn't sell the product. The problem with investing here is that there is so little information. The flip side is that the fall seems overdone given such little information and volume. I will look to re enter but that depends on how my other shares go.
Re FUM does it matter ? Can't see if they have much say in the business ? I suppose a liquidation of their position might hurt ? The colour of their money is the same as anybody elses ?
Adam , you said the Endeavour takeover implied a valuation of £43m for CNR. You now say it's worth $100 ie £80m You've lost me a bit. How do you get £80m please ?
Yes it's worth reminding ourselves of the IRR and NPV of KOR. IRR at $1750 and $2000 gold price is 71% and 93% respectively, cf market cap of $40m ish NPV figures are $210 and $294. Should be multiples on KOR alone. NPV of KOR alone has increased by about $100m over the last few months.
Yes annoying that the price hasn't moved. Only logical reason is that it must be the same person buying. A share price might not move on one person buying, it would if lots were even for small amounts.
That was me. Simple numbers game for me. 100% downside. 500% upside And the latter more likely. The last point predicated on the fact we don't know what's going on with the GSMB and the share price seems to suggest there is a conspiracy.
