RE: The way i see it...1 Jul 2023 06:01
At the end of 2022
BM knew that 33k tons of the orders he was claiming had been forward ordered and that the sales for delivery during the year were only 117k , when you look at the buildup of sales during 2022.
March 22 rns
28 February 2022 totalled 30,161 tonnes
June 22 rns
Q2 2022 sales year-on-year to 47,339 tonnes
September 22 rns
2022 full year sales order target of 150,000 tonnes has been exceeded - sales orders total 153,074 tonnes
During Q3 2022 the Company recorded sales orders totalling 32,676
January 23 rns
Total sales orders received for 2022 was 172,000 tonnes
FY 2022 invoiced sales to 150,422 tonnes
total sales orders received reaching 172,000 tonnes, of which 150,000 tonnes was delivered and invoiced
2023 july- 2022 final results
2022 saw operations accelerate at Arapua resulting in total sales of 150,000 tonnes of its organic fertilizer, KP Fértil®, which included 33,000 tonnes of advanced sales that had been invoiced but did not meet the definition of revenue in the year under accounting standards.
--------------
So in one RNS we have 150,000 tons delivered and invoiced - I believe the reason he gave for 33k not being revenue was that it had not been delivered , but in Jan 23 RNS he says " total sales orders received reaching 172,000 tonnes, of which 150,000 tonnes was delivered and invoiced "
We now have to figures to consider
172k total sales orders minus 150k = 22k passing to 2023
and the 33k which now is not revenue for 2022 (out of the 150k)
The figures being presented are a shambles and also introduce further ambiguity by using the terms 'sales' and sales orders' which further complicates this already complicated way of explaining how the company is performing.
