Actually the fall has all the looks of manipulation. The SP had been holding fairly well above 32p and then just in advance of EIA figures the manipulation started in expectation of a build - our SP could have fallen badly if we hadn't had a big draw. Seems to be in recovery mode now.

POO is becoming easier to predict than Enquest's SP. POO should be ok now for the rest of the week as it propels itself through the resistance zones. No idea why ENQ has broken below 32p - hopefully only temporary.

WTI having another go in the resistance zone - I guess everything depends on EIA figures due out at 15.30 BST. The chart analysts are now talking about a fall to just $64 as a downside ahead of the OPEC talks so hopefully Brent would hold above $74. But if EIA shows a big draw it should lift POO back into the comfort zone, Brent around $76, for the rest of the week.

Very disappointing, especially as WTI has fallen back from the resistance zone. it could be a very difficult week now unless EIA figures show a big draw - they are due tomorrow at 15.30 BST..

It is a gamble but only for one reason - simply if there are substantial construction delays. I guess that is why the institutional investors not investing much in SXX yet. Hopefully things will carry on progressing as they are now and private investors will have a smooth run to profits.

Yes, most definitely - I guess it will be a fairly modest one and once completed the SP will reflect the value of the business going forward and we may even see some potential start to get added.

Yes, the II's would certainly help to get rid of this dreadful volatility every time POO slides - our SP is a bit like a spider trying to get out of the bath at the moment.

WTI is moving even faster - its looking very good at the moment !!! Sentiment seemed to change mid way through yesterday afternoon - not sure why ???

It just broke through and is going up - keep everything crossed !!!!

WTI is still in the high resistance zone between $66 and $66.30 as it has been since London closed yesterday. The next break will I think be very decisive ahead of the OPEC meeting. $66.22 is the main figure to look for and to break - a hold above this, no matter how narrow is good.

Not bad - I guess that is around 500k.

All eyes on WTI tonight it has risen above $66 and is in a very high resistance zone up to $66.30. If it closes above $66.30 in New York that will be exceptionally good news !!!

Concord is almost ready to sail - one tug is with her and the other is hurrying to her side at over 18 knots. Should know new draught soon - could be around 13m.

"Qatar Oil Minister says OPEC may still consider extending cooperation with Russia on managing supplies, despite tightening market, according to Platts" "Iraq Oil Minister says oil prices still need more support and stability" Its nice to know that common sence prevails in the aim to balance supply and demand !!!

Hello Kraken Hopefully it is the worst case scenario that is priced in and we get a good bounce after the meeting. Some analysts who follow the charts are talking about WTI at $58 - $60 over the next few weeks - lets hope they are wrong !!!

Yes, we are well overdue some good news - anything would be welcome in what is set to be a rather nervy period between now and the OPEC meeting later in the month.

It would be great if the load is 575k.. But, the transfer from AK maybe wasn't long enough for 575k and there is always the possibility that some ballast remained on AS. So we will have to wait for the 13m draught on Concord to be 100% sure - conventional tankers don't carry any ballast when they are loaded but I have never been sure about shuttle tankers.

AS is now transferring her load to Concord in Scapa Flo - the transfer started around 20.00 BST tonight. Concord is due to sail to Houston at a time and date still to be confirmed. We should be able to confirm the size of the load when the transfer is complete.

The true up to date information is as posted by 121 - I quote - "You'll see that peak production will be in 2019, once DC4 comes online in Q1 2019, which makes sense. In reality, there won't be a drop off in production in 2019, but that'll start sometime in 2021.
