I think we can expect a call for more investment shortly - hopefully on a fairly modest scale. SP seems to move on a single sale or purchase so I think the movements are not relevant in the long term.

As far as I can see we haven't been rated by anyone since late March. I don't give much credibility to Broker Ratings but I do wonder how much they reflect the city's fixed view on a stock. In other words if you are out of favour will the "City establishment" will other institutional investors take the risk of an investment - a sort of jobsworth mentality.

Kraken oil is delivered to US refineries - we observe the transfers to US bound tankers.

One positive news story that ENQ could promote at the moment is how the heavy Kraken oil is being exported to the US to mix with their lighter oils.- all that would take would be a simple press release.

The lesson from the last few weeks is simple - no mater what news is produced in an RHS by an oil company, if oil dips at the wrong time the positive effect that may be given by the RNS will be totally ignored and the sell on news brigade and shorts will have a field day. The damage is now done and the SP must build again that is why ENQ need to redouble their efforts to promote the company - hopefully the upcoming AK commissioning will be that opportunity but we need strong POO as well.

121 Yes to all that but going forward it is important that the SP reflects the current value of ENQ and it clearly doesn't at present. In other words we need a bridge to get us to September when the companies potential hits the balance sheet.

Bumi Armada are talking about the sign off happening by the end of this month. From Enquest's point of view everything has to be perfect or we will get a delay - no known issues after the maintenance/weather blip in March.

As Kraken says we need ENQ management to get off their backsides and promote the company. The trouble is that without buyers the strong influence is the shorts, with us long term holders just holding for better times that we know are on the horizon. Every time POO falls the SP falls with strong shorting but without buying pressure it doesn't rise correspondingly when POO bounces back - catch 22

Euroclear shows 4.65% - that includes all the small holdings not just the larger holdings over 0.5%. The actual percentage is I think a bit misleading, if they are all proactive I think their influence is much greater. There have been reports of two brokers in Sweden simply selling ENQ stock between one another to keep the SP down for example.

Good news the total out on loan stock for CWR has fallen from 4.54% to 3.94% - still a bit high but going in the right direction.

Just keep everything crossed - I have come to the conclusion that it is impossible to predict the unpredictable and POO is the unpredictable !!!
