Hello Auson Presumably the trades you highlighted are made in the UK and are nothing to do with the Swedish traders unless they are trading here as well ???

With just a little nudge they can have a disproportionate effect in pushing the SP down on down days like yesterday. Then it takes days to recover before the process repeats on another down day. All by manipulation.

I am not sure that AK will ever produce a static daily rate simply because of the complex nature of the field and its management for the long term. I think that ENQ have a lot more savvy than some operators in the past when it comes to looking after the crude that is still to be exploited.

Andy No you misunderstand - the RNS has been issued today to reassure investors that all is well and is obviously good news. But the City simply wants to know that the investors have signed letters of commitment for stage 2 funding - in the timetable for the end of June. It seems that there is some slippage to this timetable - so great RNS, but the wrong one for the City.

This looks like a reassurance RNS to me - for the investors. It indicates slippage of the financial timetable - the City wont like it - SP could fall further but it may already be priced in that things are going slower than anticipated for stage 2.

"We continue to make good progress on all aspects of our project and are in active discussions with potential customers in other key markets such as Europe, India and Brazil in order to support the stage 2 financing." That's the bit that matters - great news !!! It seems we may have to wait just a little longer for firm news on stage 2 than anticipated - re the commitment letters ????

Hello DD My doom and gloom only occurs when I think about Trump - other than that, anyway I think AK has already been commissioned and ENQ are just waiting for a good time to announce it - which brings us back to Trump !!!

The most important factor will be the due diligence reports done by each of the lenders - they set the requirements, explore the risks, look at the Government guarantees etc. They could also take longer than expected to complete - we may need to be very patient.

Mr.dt From my understanding it is largely up to the stage 2 investors if they think the torps are high enough. SXX wanted them higher but my guess is that they have sufficient interest without total commitment - total commitment may not be forthcoming simply because of the uncertainty created by Brexit - especially from European companies.

Well in that case we could get the news any day - SXX just say June and we have 8 working days to go and I guess it could slip into July or even August without hurting the timetable.

Is there a quarterly update due at the end of the month ?? Presumably if there is it could include the news that the stage 2 investors have signed letters of commitment. That would give the SP one hell of a boost !!!
