Still assuming its Heather for this load.

The weather forecast indicates that conditions are not suitable for a hook up until later on Saturday, so they may even wait until Sunday now.

After that the forecast is good.

Tomorrow could be a very good day - the Dow is up over 500 points on the day, most of it since London closed - it look like the Fed is keeping a lid on interest rate rises.

The storm is certainly having a drastic effect in the North Sea - most of the Fishermen have returned to port and there are now around 30 supply vessels clustered around Heather and Natalita in the McDuff anchorage.

Realistically to me it looks like a Saturday hook up now.

Yes, not far short of 60 days - as you say not great.

Anneleen finished at around 3am - her draught is now 11.3m - guessing a load of around 225 - 250k.

Anneleen Knutsen is still hooked up to EP - good AIS now - around 12-13 hours and counting.

Heather is playing tanker tease - now heading back towards MacDuff.

I think that the only news we are likely to get before stage 2 will be regarding construction.

Stage 2 and the additional contigency will probably be anounced at the same time with hopefully no dilution unless it involves stategic partners.

If Sirius do need to riase more capital to cover the contigency I think they may do an acellerated book build. This could be the least worst option for shareholders - it would be over within 24 hours and it would bring some institutional buyers onboard - also it acts as a vote of confidence from the City.

It looks like Anneleen Knutsen is hooked up to EP this morning - but AIS makes it imposable to be certain.

The weather is set fair until around midnight so that should give plenty of time for the offload.

As for Trump it looks like he has his own problems - Mueller seems to be close to reporting and GM just announced they are closing 5 car plants in the US. With the G20 next week I guess he will be want to be centre stage again.

Hopefully Putin and the Saudi Prince can do a deal when they meet at the G20.

Russia and China seem to be turning the screw and grabbing more and more from Venezuela in return for aid - meanwhile Trump is blocked out.

The weather looks set to play a big part in the timing of the next load.

With stormy weather forecast midweek it looks like we may have to wait until Saturday before we get a hook up.

Heather Knutsen is the best candidate - currently at McDuff - she would have to move very quickly today to take advantage of the calm weather forecast until Wednesday morning - no sign of that - other shuttle tankers also seem to just be drifting without any urgency.

Most takeovers proceed because the institutional shareholders vote to proceed but unless the terms are very good the private investors tend to be more unpredictable. Sirius has very few institutional investors.

My feeling would be that as a high proportion of investors are her for the long term any offer would be rejected - I certainly would not be willing to sell out now.

The most time likely time for a takeover would be if Sirius ran into trouble during the construction and cash run short - then the likes of ICL would be smelling out a bargain.

Heather is now on her way to McDuff - no indication other than a guess that she is Kraken bound.

The weather is flat calm at the moment but forecast to change on Wednesday-Thursday with a storm passing through.

So it looks like the weather will dictate a Friday at the earliest hook up.

Yes and its not just OPEC.

The Russians have seen their ally Iran kicked around by Trump and then used by him to his advantage, they must be apoplectic and Russians do bare grudges or in their case Bear Grudges !!!

I think that the result of this will be a gloves off OPEC+ with Saudi and Russia both singing from the same hymn sheet.

A lot now hinges on the G20 at the end of the month and the OPEC meeting that follows it.
