Last reports say that Ananda Krishnan owns 35% of Bumi - so unless he sees no way forward or he dies, I guess he will support the company???

He may well reduce the size of Bumi so that it is just trading on the recipts from its current charters - it is almost doing that now - but I cannot see it going bankrupt while it still has income potential.

We have a hook up - timed at 08.15.

Bumi will be relying on its founder and principal share holder Ananda Krishnan for its survival until it can get its finances back on an even keel. Krishnan is the 413th richest person in the world.

So I guess if Krishnan wants to turn Bumi around he has to get AK fixed - not just for financial reasons but also for the companies reputation.

The weather has calmed down quicker than expected and HK is on her final approach for the hook up.

The AIS is still poor so it may not be possible to confirm a hook up time but it looks like it could be just minutes away.

No action today - the weather is lively tonight and into tomorrow morning - first chance for hook up looks to be tomorrow afternoon - weekend weather is ok but could go downhill Tuesday.

Yes, PMO is motoring up at the moment and could break through 80p - it will be interesting to see if the rise holds or if the traders cash out and bring it back down again.

The lack of AIS coverage at the moment means we are unable to see where HK currently is and if there has been a hook up.

It will be a good test of how much crude AK has on board if they do go for a early morning hook up.

That about turn this morning was rather decisive though - lets hope the engineers have been using the downtime and fixing AK to produce 40-50k.

Tomorrow may be a difficult day weather wise for a hook up - we may be waiting for the weather to improve - with a hook up not possible until Friday afternoon.

You are coming across as someone who clearly didn't do their own research when they invested.

SM is a growth company without any income - dilution is always going to be highly likely with any company that has no income, especially when they have a high capital spend.

Yes, they clearly are not ready for her at AK - we could get a prolonged spell of tanker tease now.

Same here - they give about 5% return and provide a good balance to equities - investing is all about balance and access to cash - Premium Bonds are a much better option than a deposit account and give instant access.

The risk/reward has always been very clear for SM - much more so than for just about any other quoted stock - so I don't understand why some investors are whinging - maybe they should look at their own investment strategy - Premium Bonds might be a good option.

Todays results provide a strong springboard for future growth in the SP - any recovery in the UK construction sector would give Breedon a very strong lift - this is now a classic strong buy for long term investors.

HK is just 14 nautical miles from AK now - no indication yet that a hook up is imminent.

Yes, it certainly looks like HK is Kraken bound - the weather may play a part in when she hooks up.

Tomorrow is OK, but overnight Thursday into Friday wave heights are forecast to be around 5.5m for a short while.

After that the weekend and early next week are calm again.

At her current speed HK will be at the field at about 08.00 tomorrow - hook up will be from the south - so she could be hooked up by late morning.
