I have to say I like the tin JV also. Market didn't react too well but perhaps that was more major selling/ trading as opposed to the tin news itself. Keeping a loose eye on meridian they have performed over the last year making 133pc. Cabaçal a Copper-Gold VMS project in Brazil sounds like it would be Omi's street also and does seem quite interesting throwing up a few nice results...open pit as well. Good to hear how tin shortages are hitting people who are in this field as well everyonesawinner. Bodes well...I think tin JV is a done deal personally.

Webbs what do you think of the potential tin JV with meridian? Seems you are keeping tabs there.

Yeah I am excited I have to admit. I think your bang on with La Cejita and Jesuitas as well. We do go through periods of silence which is hard on the share price but I think if Omi can improve comms and keep the market informed a bit more regularly then I think we should see volume increase. The Tin JV which I think will be go-er should help with more news flow, as will any other potential JV's that seem to be on the radar. Clearly if as you say we have 4 areas going for it, it should be quite a busy drill season later this year which isn't all that far off. I keep asking myself what I am missing and I just can't come up with an answer. The only thing I can think of is the market is maybe waiting for gold in other areas. Perhaps the blegs will help with this near term until as brad says "the drills do the talking". The one thing that has stood in the share prices way this year has been Continental, Loryser and covid delays. Well we seem to be nearly at the end of a few of those issues and hopefully labs can be a bit more efficient. I'd also be very surprised if Newmont walked away...very...my bank balance would be sore too but I have complete faith that this project and it will be massive in the future. This is still an amazing price and time to get in here. People were paying 40p not so long ago and on Newmont continuation last year the price went bonkers. Well we have way more data and closer to getting into the areas that we as investors should be getting really excited about. People have to do their own research obviously but one day out of nowhere the volume and share price here in my eyes will erupt and people will be wishing they got in now not later when the herd come.

My body is vibrating on that news. Apta is a good start but it is not really why I am invested here. Although a success, anyone worth their salt knows that La Cejita and Jesuitas could be massive and if they are...well better hold on to your hats. We could quite possibly have a number of rigs working away in multiple areas such is the thirst for knowledge by our major partners Newmont and Agnico. Hopefully sign on the dotted line in the next few trading days with a sprinkle of bleg results on top for main course and a dessert or Loryser out for afters..what's not to like.

Solid is right. One of the best right now on market and screaming to go on a bit of a run shortly. I can't believe it's so unloved. Hopefully that will change.

Off the top of my head I think there are 4 still outstanding but happy to be wrong on this if anyone has a better understanding on the matter....I personally don't think the outstanding holes bring much to the table looking at the big picture. We know Apta is a success, obviously will help though if decent. Main driver for me is Newmont and Agnico staying with us for another year. The market will react well to that I believe.

No real different at the moment and I agree we are range bound until the picture becomes a bit clearer.. In a bit of limbo last few weeks but we know Omi could spark into life into any day now; what with quite possibly the most important news of JV roll over within the next 10 trading days and confirmation of the end of major Loryser selling. Super important period for Orosur and for shareholders alike.

Think I said previously i'd take it as profit is profit but as you've stated there is potentially so much more that could come omi's way and you don't want to miss out on those potential gains. I keep adding anyhow as I think JV rollover will happen and I think with Apta being a success and de-risking the project I really want to see what else can be uncovered in the juicer areas. I think at the time Newmont would likely come calling I think to prize it away it would have to higher than 50p but if offered today I'd take it with a tinge of sadness as I would like to see the story unfold.

I think a few have hit the nail on the head. What was a billed as a rich news period seems to be radio silence. I hate to think what a quiet news period would be like. We are in critical juncture with a major holder selling out though and I do believe we are very very close, almost within touching distance of better share price performance. Not easy watching share price erode admittedly but I hope Brad knows what he is doing and is aware of pi sentiment currently and has the news flow he talks of worked out optimally for our benefit. I didn't think we would go much lower than 16.5 and we did today which is a bit concerning but the MMS don't seem to want buyers to get much bang for the buck and from reports seem happy to take substantial holdings (albeit at joke value). I'm not concerned at the drop, it has to be expected with the selling pressure. I'm happy to keep adding myself but unfortunately we need more to buy in to the story and I think that will come when some of the if and if nots are ironed out very shortly. The thing is tho as much as I am happy to let the drills do the talking, a little bit of spin and publicity from Orosur would go a long way during these quieter periods. Let's face it we are goldfish in this day and age with everything at your fingertips. So come on Orosur let's see what you got.

JV roll over confirmation will send this on a run. It's just a pity we don't know how much Loryser have. Seem to have stepped up their sale campaign today. Good opportunity tho if you have some coin at the ready.

Can't see a buy out at the moment. I don't think it makes strategic sense for them currently due to the dynamics of the JV and as long as they keep extending Newmont will own more as the years progress. I don't think that's really an issue for Omi though, if they keep extending then obviously something tangible for the majors to work with and omi will piggyback onto that. Not to say it couldn't happen in the future though but I don't see it for a few years yet. Let's get the JV extension and Loryser ratified and look forward to next drill campaign. Still without TO in the foreseeable alot still to get excited about.

Good post there mamba I noticed the announcement was 3rd September myself so slowly getting close to that which is a Friday. Lightening could strike twice or it could drop earlier with the addition of Loryser being out. Really getting close to game time. Of course Newmont could forfeit but I don't think so. I think Apta is just the start and it set what it was supposed to. Clearly they think more to discover there otherwise no point in leaving one rig there. Alot to play for very very shortly.

Asilad I think you are right to consider your scenario when it's your money on the line you have to be wise and consider every eventuality, weighing up the risk your taking on and the benefits you could receive. Your not going to get much cheaper before the impending news flow. Best time to load up would have been before last spike this year but I'm confident at this level moving forward there is still good money to be made. Still be quite alot of people under water from when we were touching 40s. I personally am confident we will see that again this year tho. Completely my own opinion but if JV is extended and Loryser are completely out there is nothing stopping this from going on an amazing run. Every good result this year we have had a major seller in the background dumping on every spike. Without that opposition the sky is the limit. I genuinely believe this.

That is one theory but say your theory is correct and the majors walk away then would it not make more sense for Omi to commit money to pushing on Apta? Considering there is a lot of drill data from historical drills and from the drill that has just been concluded and ongoing with 1 rig left behind and with money still in the bank I'd imagine that would be Omi's plan of attack. I certainly wouldn't entertain the tin JV when I'm sitting on such data like what had been discovered if the likelihood was that the major backing would be pulled. Yes they have the wider licence to consider but being a junior if I was Brad that is what I'd do. Now Brad is on record as stating that if the majors were not running the show that is what they would be doing as well. I trust him. I don't see the point in introducing new target areas if your walking away. I honestly can't see the majors not being happy with the results to date but that is the risk you take I suppose. As for the director sale, the director who sold was the legal secretary not really sure his position if I were him I would have kept them but Brad is adding and that is good for me. The wording in the RNS was that the results were spectacular. Are majors in the habit of walking away from spectacular results which were drilled in the most convenient and least fancied area? I don't think so. Do you want in cheaper?

Coiled spring Vicjain. A few of us said it when we were down at 14p and the same people are saying it again at 17p. When this moves it moves and when Loryser are out there will be no more spring/summer sales on offer. I imagine after a spike a new higher base will be formed. I said yesterday in my eyes you're not going to get much cheaper. Sure you might squeeze a 16.8 buy but I have a feeling this is primed. I personally have helped myself to a few more as well. I thank Loryser for giving me this wonderful opportunity as I believe if it wasn't for the historical debt we would be substantially higher than where we are today. Even the posters who are not as bullish know time is running out to get in at these levels. They know when Loryser shares are cleared with a deadline of September, Omi are in the hands of Newmont and pi's and will have no opposition of major holders selling in the background. Hopefully Nick has been working on bringing a few new insti's onboard and it wouldn't surprise me if a few are already lurking under 3pc.

Could be Loryser out. I hope so. Failing that MMs clearly see where this going shortly. This is literally waiting for a spark to the light the fuse.

Good point actually Rems. I think JV extension is in the bag and I think blegs will be solid therefore if on the fence about investing here then time is running out to get in before the news flow starts. Webbs reckons 3 weeks, I think it will be sooner. News could land any day now. Probably at a guess next week and if not most likely week after?
