I agree with everything you say mamba but I don't think we'll be so lucky to get the blegs data. I think majors keeping this data under wraps for a variety of reasons. In saying that if we take Apta in isolation 92, 95 and 99 suggest to me there is definitely a hypothesis or data that suggest an interest in that North West area a few hundred metres away from the main Apta drills. Reading between the lines there is clearly decent data at pupino and pepas as well. For me personally it's pity we can't get in about Jesuitas and drill right along the fault. Literally every land package has something going for it. I don't want to speculate on millions of ounces as we don't have the requisite data, but I'm expecting a ramp up in proceedings at the start of 2022, which I believe will be a significant amount more than the contracted spend and will put this year's drill to shame in scale. I come to this conclusion as the decision was made to lead the project and due to the protracted handover probably taken longer than expected. I have a few other theories as well, which I'll keep to myself. Eagerly waiting though. My initial feeling after yesterday was if there is no director buy there is something more substantial than just the tin JV brewing in the background and I wouldn't at all be surprised to see an update of some sort this week or next week. I just don't think we'll be waiting months for the next one and it's going to catch a few people out expecting a drift in share price.

The holes reported yesterday were delayed results from the 1st half of the year's drill campaign. These holes were drilled for geological and stratigraphic reasons and not originally part of the Apta drill program. Basically bonus holes. Another 3 holes are being worked on/not reported at Apta currently. From previous rns' the plan is to leave a rig permanently at Apta to prove up the area up further.

Handover process - The majors decided that they wanted operational control of Anza. This was expected to be decide on in summer 2022 but signalled their intention 1 year early. The process has been protracted due to the complexity of labour and contract issues in columbia, moving staff employed by Omi to the majors company. This in main seems to be nearly complete now.

Anza - majors carried out sample work throughout the land area once the majority of Apta drilling was wound down. We do not know the findings of these. They were sent to Newmont's lab. Last rns states that pupino and pepas look prospective which are new areas added alongside the other target areas Apta, Jesuitas, La Cejita, Charrascala and Guaimarala. A few delays regarding permits, access etc but also a few areas ready. Other target areas untouched currently. Apta drilled 1st as had historical data.

JVs - Omi keen to JV in other projects. Meridian tin the one known. Letter of intent deadline overdue. Still no outcome yet. Potentially more JV opportunities as stated by Omi.

Anything anyone says of the future is pure speculation or conjecture. Educated guesses ranging to absolute drivel. Omi are small cap with Newmont as major holder and Agnico brought in for their expertise in this area and VMS deposits. A few of the land packages run parallel to the aragon fault. Look at the facts yourself and decide how you see the future playing out and invest or not accordingly.

I get where your coming from Yelacoirii, I have a feeling there won't be so long now for updates tho. I believe we will start to see more regular news flow leading into next drill campaign and perhaps there will be a left field announcement that one does not expect. I have a feeling Brad has something up his sleeve. Soon see but to me anyway to give up now is a strange one. Each to their own tho.

I agree with this thread completely. I helped myself to a few yesterday as well. Probably over stretched myself slightly but the facts are a few of holes were no where near historical drilling and they are trying to learn the geology of Apta so there's bound to be a few poor holes thrown in the mix. Course they could have drilled somewhere where they know they'll get the grades but what's the point in that to the majors? They want to know the bigger picture here. The main body of drilling was done earlier this year. It's worth noting that there is actually another 3 holes at Apta - 1 already drilled and 2 currently being drilled that wasn't disclosed in the main part of the RNS yesterday. I think Brad said each hole is quite costly, therefore clearly the majors see something quite a bit off of the historical and the last year's drilling activity. I'm braced for some fireworks soon. I believe now that this is out the way there should be plenty more to come. There's been a few clues tucked away in the rns.

To me points to the north being drilled next in conjunction with Apta and probably going to be a substantial drill campaign at that.

And remember this was only Columbia update they is more to come through the JV opportunities.

I'm of the same opinion as well Wayne. Radio silence for months apart from the recent interview and Brad has tweeted that so I imagine something interesting is being worked on which should be fairly soon. For what that could be I'm not so sure. The rns says "substantially complete" and "effective control", to me that suggests there might still be something with regards to this as the terminology could have simply been "complete" and "full control". A few bits and bobs to iron out perhaps but maybe reading too much into the wording.

Quote possibly the best comment of the day. People getting their knickers in a twist because of test holes which in essence was a bit of fact finding. Too many people hanged their hats on these holes when it was clear that it doesn't make a difference in the grand scheme of things. It's actually a bit of joke. Plenty more to come and I helped my self to a few more this morning . I suspect a few have just been mugged of their shares and this update that the market reacted poorly signifies the start of the rich news flow period. Expect more to follow in the coming weeks.

I think your confusing our sentiments perhaps. Nobody thinks it's a bad project because they've had to hold through delays etc. We are aware of where we are in terms of discovery, our place in the pecking order and the complexity of what's going on behind the scenes. I'm just echoing what I am sure a few other posters think. I think it's still fair to point out that it was billed as a rich news flow period that has not transpired yet. I'm sure we will eventually be treated to it, I'm positive of that in-fact. One thing you have right you have to have the patience of a saint here and hopefully we will be rewarded.

Yes kemot I'm fully aware that Omi are still completely within the 90 day time frame for handover completion but even in that, the rns states "is expected to take substantially less than the allowed 90 days".

Why even put that in? It's not required and just builds unrealistic expectations for many shareholders who quite frankly bought into his timeframes for other key happenings this year such as outstanding assays, JV announcements, licensing/ access agreements, blegs etc. Seems to be a bit of a running joke these days which was encapsulated by the grandioso statement of "rich news" period.

I really like the project and I think things will come together but by the same token it's prudent to point out failings and hiding behind a wall of excuses doesn't really cut the mustard for some of us. I like Brad I do, I like his geo background and lack of pump but aim is a fickle place, all we ask is for him to be more realistic in order to not have sentiment kicked into the mud. At least with each passing day it's a step closer to hopefully something to build on.

Yes kemot that's understandable but it's more that this has been an ongoing theme for the last year and quite a bit of news is now backed up. Plus when it comes from orosur that news will be a few days or this month etc the expectation is that they should deliver, especially after what seems like shareholders have already put up with delays. It's like Orsosur's very own version of inception currently. Delay within a delay within a delay. Hard to tell what's delay and what is reality now.

I can't say I'm hopeful for news but I would have thought some time this week would have been a good punt a few weeks ago. Be happy if something decent drops though. It's about time with all the delays :)

Personally my feeling was many months ago that gold would go higher but 1800 is proving a tough nut to crack. The noise from the fed, governments are that everything will be ok come 2022 but i've purposely taken a contrarian view to that. When cracks start to appear they tend to get bigger so my hope would be a catalyst will formulate which will see gold and gold stocks in a better light at some point. Could be wrong of-course but then that's the great thing about investing, no-one's opinion is the same....perhaps we've already had gold's great run but you have to believe in your own convictions.

As for Omi obviously being a junior that's not producing in a complex arena with major's timeframes to deal with, we are at the mercy of them, and it has to be said that Brad has appeared inexperienced when it comes to newsflow and pr and maybe miscalculated the scale of the workflow he's contending with. Hopefully he has learnt alot from this year. I'm of the opinion that the journey doesn't matter to him so much and it's all about the end result which as investors we hope he gets right. I haven't seen anything over the last year which makes me think he can't take this forward as fundamentally things are on track, if not delayed, but there are aspects that could be improved on which are plain to see.

The 2 years behind GGP was an interesting statement as I think he stated GGP have about 10 times more drilling behind them than what Omi does. It means our major overlords are going to have to get their skates on if we are to live up to that statement. Especially as it was made a good few months ago now....this means more money and a step up in the drilling program to meet that I'd guess. I'm sure we will find out soon enough Brad time but I do feel once this handover is complete things will escalate quote quickly.

I do think it will be news rich but certain things have to come together before we will be treated to it (namely Agnico handover) which I suppose sounds easy but when you are having to adhere to Columbian employment/ operations laws etc I can imagine the litigation being an absolute minefield. So it's taking longer than one hopes but probably prudent for it to be done right and not to bite you further down the line.

Brad's flagstaff interview highlights quite a few things.

1. Labour/ operational litigation to be worked through.
2. 1 rig running currently and once point 1 sorted a "ramp up" will commence.
3. Agnico see Anza as potentially BIG, but we are working to their timelines.
4. New projects - looking over the last year...Tin is known to market. Advanced negotiations for a few others (on hold until handover complete no doubt)
5. "Watch this space" - they are getting assays through and hope there will soon be enough to release.

There are other things to look forward too such as blegs, permits and of course a drill plan for next campaign. On top of that actual drilling and further assays etc in chosen areas by Agnico.

As a few posters have said Agnico have quite the budget to splash next year on exploration. Will some more come Anza's way...perhaps it will, who knows...and if so, will Newmont match it?..I would say they will (hypothetical). There is a dynamic there that although working together they'll be looking at this purely for selfish reasons also. You don't get two majors in bed if it's not potentially BIG.
Anyways the point is that there are delays and it's rubbish for us as holders currently but don't give up. The timeline has shifted again but once we get that confirmation that the handover is complete it's going to be game time here....so you want your chips ready.

The price has drifted only because of boredom and sentiment and not because of where Omi currently stand operationally. From a personal point of view il be looking to squeeze in a couple more top ups but then that is me. Complete confidence on where this can potentially go.

Clearly the MMS are knocking this down as they know news will come and it's been delayed. Maybe there are a few weaker hands through boredom or rainbow chasing falling for it. Not me i am just going to keep adding when I can and take Brad's timelines completely with a pinch of salt. Nothing fundamentally changed just delays which has been the theme of the whole year.

"All-in sustaining costs were $1,011 ounce". Im sure in the future Anza's AISC would be considerably less than this per ounce. Could be part of the reason why Agnico are keen and it's great to see that their exploration budget is increasing. Never know Agnico/ Newmont could really push the boat out at some point or throw another curve ball into the mix. How I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the Anza discussions. Still quiet here though which is both bizarre but understandable as seems like the project is on stand still even after bullish webinars a few weeks back. I don't think it is but Omi desperately need news.
