Tts good points. The spend does roll over which is another indication that phase 2 is going ahead. Think frustration is coming from why if majors have signalled already to go to phase 2( I suspect this would have been universally known no doubt once they had the grades back from Pepas - that weren't disclosed for a few months later) that it has taken so long to negotiate and get the legal contracts in place. Plus more frustration has come from Brad's webinars where he purposely states sound bites like drill drill drill etc and has stated timelines of the junior projects that haven't materialised as no payment has been received for moving into phase 2 as of yet. Everything has had a knock on effect timeline due to the delays in getting this new company formed.
We do want to see skin more skin in the game from our directors. Many who post have bigger holdings than them. Personally I don't mind them having options in place to reward themselves but it would be better for us a holders that it was linked to share price performance, likewise I would like to see consistent additions by directors over phase 2. I do think we will see an addition once new company has been formed. Will consistent buys be a feature from them though, jury is out on that.
Our slump recently came from the new company formation not being over the line, the downing of drills and the pitiful assays which having strike so well previously, came as complete shock to all. Hopefully however this pause will allow them to re-assess and get pad locations in place that will be much better on resumed drilling. I believe next batch of assays we receive will be much better but as we are not drilling currently these will be months off. Most here are looking for a pick up of works over phase 2 so I hope that this is the case.
That leaves us with the junior plots. Ideally we would like to see the payment received this month, this will allow management to bring some game in the market space. Argentina/ Brazil cannot be sensored by majors and we may see some positive spin on them that may help sentiment short term but to bring them further forward, finance will always be an issue.
Gold price is strengthening, the world is feeling the pinch, rate rises still ongoing and will surely pivot, recessions looking likely, inflation issues, geopolitical issues etc, cost of living crisis are all at the forefront of investors minds......all in all I feel from this price Orosur can make real headwind this year.
