It’s an interesting set of circumstances but as you just said we will hopefully be through the ‘what if’ stage and passed some fundamental commercial milestones with flying colours.

This makes the late July / August trial updates from both ModiFY and SCOPE really pivotal in determining just how solid our financial base will be going through 2026 and onwards to completion of the SCOPE Registration Trial in 2027.

The important issue is what happens when the CLN’s become due in late 2027. Surely Redmile would ideally like to sell some or all of their stake to recoup at least their initial investment ( £44m ish ).

If there is no other option but to covert the CLN’s into shares their holding would be somewhere over 50% or 60%.

You are invested but at a much higher price and are upset. The real shame is that you cannot post anything positive about a company that is trying to build a couple of platforms that may well save many lives.

Scancell are not villains trying to steal your money and hopefully for all of us the data arriving in July / August will push the SP back towards your target.

Anyway the board wouldn't put that miserly offer to the shareholders because they know it would be rejected.

The value is in what it could be worth over the next 5 or 10 years.

Saying 20p is as ridiculous as saying £5.

On a really positive note, Scancell will now be seeing 13 week scan data from the Renal Cell - Modi1 plus CPi's Cohort.

First patient dosed August 2024, then in late October we were told 6 patients were enrolled and in the January Interim the number was 7.

Presumably some of those early patients will have been dosed in October and early November. Any that were will now have reach their 13 week scans.

The hope is that the checkpoints plus Modi1 have the same impact inside the tumours as seen in the SCOPE trial with SCIB1.

Once they reach 11 patient scans I wonder if they will release that information.

All the unbridled excitement as we approached Moditope going into the clinic has withered to the point where I now wear ‘practical reality’ glasses.

It would be so nice to be wrong and something ‘left field’ powered Scancell above 25p but I don’t think that’s how it’s going to play out.

I am excited for the SCOPE data in August and the Modi1 plus double checkpoint in RCC. I think both of those will be catalyst’s for a much higher SP.

It looks like all things Scancell will converge around the end of 2027 and the beginning of 2028.

End of the SCOPE Registration Trial, Meaningful and Bankable data from the ModiFY Trial with Checkpoint’s and Hefty Milestone Payments from a successful GenMab trial or two.

All starts with 2025 ending with positive outcomes in both of our ongoing trials and GenMab getting on with that Ph1 Trial.

I am only trying to inject a little common sense into the debate about GenMab being in a position to make a bid, now.

A calm look at the facts and the way GenMab acquired the first Mab ‘Target’ points to the fact that our GlyMabs are novel.

When thing are new they have to be proven and after two years GenMab have not even entered a clinical trial so why on earth would they suddenly want the whole platform for multi millions of pounds ?

The pathway is simple, GenMab start Ph1 trial with the first Mab ( milestone payment ) after 12 / 18 months they will release data and if positive start Ph2 ( milestone payment ). The second Mab enters Ph1 trial ( milestone payment ) and 12 / 18 months later release the results and if positive start a Ph2 ( milestone payment ).

Therefore at sometime in the next 2/3 years GenMab may want what’s is left of our Mabs portfolio, given that we have in fact done a deal with someone else.

Another critical point. If these GlyMabs were so well understood the oncology world have been all over them and the first deal upfront payment could have been £40m or £60m.

The reality was we had to negotiate a back end loaded deal and were grateful to receive £6m upfront.

Your argument that GenMab would move now for a part of Scancell is not paying attention to the reality of the details.

Let’s wait until they actually start a ph1 trial and know it works then they may make a move.

A quick glance at that Nature article tells me that all those deals are for well established and well known fields.

We are discussing GlyMabs ( sugar motifs ).

It’s taken over two years for GenMab to be nearly in the clinic so it’s obviously not as straightforward as you are making out for our products.

So GenMab won’t wait until they have actually seen a reaction in a human host.

I really question your reasoning that GenMab would be so reckless when they have no reason to move for any or all of Scancell until they have a view on ‘does that Mab actually work’.

Wishful thinking instead of sticking with the reality of the situation.

Before any of that can happen we need one of the two GlyMab’s actually in a clinical trial. The first deal was supposed to be imminent back in November.

A Scancell product in the clinic and then positive first data from that trial and then we can discuss what GenMab might do next.

Our immediate focus is SCOPE followed by ModiFY.

Just for balance, if you check the time of those two trades you will notice that they are exactly at the same time 11:16:53 am so unfortunately for what ever reason its the same trade printed twice.

I honestly think that Illumina know their customer base and the commercial motivation of the Blood Biopsy market. They were one of the early creators.

The entire point of a blood biopsy is to gain information that the clinicians can use to target treatments. An improvement in the accuracy of that information in real time would lead to an increase in positive patient outcomes and by implication a step change in overall cost reduction = profits.

I think that Illumina have already seen the future and will grab it with both hands before the competition realises that they have missed out.

Just my opinion but I do like the odds. If I am right then all Angle investors will benefit.
