Can anyone put a knowledgeable estimate on what our Ph3 trial might actually cost. I have not a clue, could be £200m or £400m or more ?

If someone could roughly estimate a figure at least we could work out if it’s actually possible for Scancell to fund it purely from a cash raise. Plus, what figure would an approved SOC actually generate. Hospitals would still have to cover the cost of the checkpoints plus iSCIB1+. So what would that look like in £’s per patient and profit to Scancell per annum.

Obviously Scancell will have done those calculations and Trinity Delta have done theirs and they advise keeping hold of the whole tech to be preferable.

What is missing from our knowledge is how much value is in the potential talks about Modi1. Do we have some keen interest if the data stacks up. Phil is definitely maturing the data considering we were told we would have an update Mid 2025, Q3/25 and by Year End 2025. None of which happened.

Now it’s H1/26 obviously done to have meaningful PFS data bolted to all the clinical data.

Realistically though, how much money is needed to run a 550 patient clinical trial in 5 countries over 3 years ?

What Trinity Delta are saying is that the prize ( Approval in 2029 ) is more than worth the dilution to shares in the short term. If you can call 3 years short term.

If our management and the two main investors ( Redmile & Vulpes ) think it’s worth keeping iSCIB1+ in-house. Should we disagree ?

The more questions we ask about the various facets of Scancell the more it shows just how far reaching their research and development has become.

GlyMabs on their own are capable of supporting a sizeable company worth £100’s millions. The decision to create GlyMab Theraputics Ltd is a very prudent step forward as it untangles that technology platform from Immunobody, ModiTope and AvidiMab.

Lots of potential shots on target and the nets are progressively getting wider and taller.

So in addition to the original GlyMabs, possible SC134 dual development, because we obviously need the development finance.

Are we still just talking of GenMab as a potential partner or are there others that could show interest ?

We were told that GenMab were in the process of manufacturing a clinical batch of antibodies specifically for our GlyMab target or targets.

It was presented as progress towards the next milestone trigger.

I do think that in the bigger picture we have to marry the two GenMab deals to the creation of GlyMab Theraputics Ltd.

I like your idea that GenMab heavily invest in GTL both in liquidity of the company and partnership in developing more GlyMabs.

In return those two existing deals totalling £1.2B could be modified so that some of the future cash is invested earlier in the new company.

What we don’t know is how much of any injected cash will find its way across to the parent company, Scancell Holdings.

So many potential dilution free options for our board to contemplate.

I should add that the percentage was ‘of people travelling to the conference from outside the country’.

Not total attendance.

I was talking to someone in the tech industry and he mentioned that a conference scheduled for later this year was struggling to sign up attendees. His figure was 90% compared to the same point 12 months ago.

That might not be typical across many sectors but it does show there is an unwillingness to travel to the states.

Each to their own, as they say.

From what I have been told the general attendance or sign up for conferences in the USA is very low. Some are currently 90% down on sign ups.

The European conferences seem to be fully booked as usual. It’s a sad state of affairs.

Are we aware that Scancell will be attending, poster or presentation.

We were at this conference last year.

For us long time holders these are all positive steps forwards. The anticipation and speculations of the past are being replaced with solid data and progression free survival for many patients who desperately needed to hear good news.

Really do get the sense that Scancell are beginning to get the attention of a global audience. The Ph3 trial to have clinics in the UK, Europe, USA, Australia and another unnamed country?

Definitely going after SOC globally.

My presumption is that the next milestone is when GenMab move from Pre-Clinical to gaining trial approval and or starting said trial. I am sure that this point has been raised in the past and the answer was low single figure sums.

What I have no knowledge of is just how quickly GenMab can move through a trial.

If their product works, is it instant relief for the patient ? I don’t know.

If they can prove up a new treatment in 24 to 36 months then those milestones will pile up to many 100’s of £millions.

I just don’t see £10 or £20 million coming from milestones this year.

The next milestone from GenMab will be when they gain clearance to begin a Ph1 study in one of our GlyMab targets. This is only in the region of £3m to £5m.

What we don’t know is the structure going forward. For instance, will there be payment once the toxicity study has completed or when Ph2 starts.

What has been said many times by Lindy and the team is that the larger milestones are to do with trial completion and product approval. At the moment we are a minimum of 3 - 5 years away from 10’s of £millions or 100’s of £millions.

Having said that it is still a liability for GenMab if the targets prove to be successful.

In my last post please change antibiotics to antibodies. That way it makes more sense 🤦

In the background Redmile and Vulpes will be appraising all avenues, because there are now multiple routes to funding.

It is important that what was said is heard correctly.

1) SC134 to be developed

2) Modi1 is now being held back to ensure that the PFS hits a particular point in time.

3) Modi1 is close to being fully enrolled.

4) GlyMab Theraputics is being track to have IP, products and Management of its own.

5) There are more GlyMabs in the works.

6) GenMab from last year have been manufacturing a clinical trial batch of antibiotics loaded with our target or targets.

And so on and so on ……

Very strong and confident answers on all financing questions.

There must be several ongoing dialogues covering a whole range of options, whether that is partenering for the SCOPE trial Ph3 or just financial input for a royalty stake from future sales revenue, may even be in serious discussions of a price for the whole Immunobody Platform.

Seems to me that this slick FDA process has put Scancell up front and centre for Partnering or a Purchase of the company because the team as a whole have just achieved a remarkable result. Sometimes these big pharma deals is predicated on accuiring the scientists as well as the science.

Also, discussions continue on iSCIB1+ also on ‘Immunobody’. So it is possible that there talks taking place for the whole Immunobody platform.

Plus, SC134 and the FDA ?

Tomorrow, post a very positive Webinar presentation, we should see the share price rally again.

With a positive vibe from that presentation we should start to build towards an MCap of £200 million.
