Well, who would have thought we would be back at these levels looking back to when Trumpty Dumpty won the Presidential race. It's not that long ago that GBG had fallen to sub 220p, when I got stopped out. Glad I bought back in at around 224p. In truth and retrospect, I should never have sold out around 139p but we all have to make a decision that we think best at the time.
Not sure I will be able to read the IC article, but thanks Bezz for bringing it to our attention.
BT - hows the planning permission going etc., any more news?. As for me, well, things have improved greatly here. After a lot of stress M has sold her house after less than 6 weeks on the market, so there will be another bod living here in the near future. It will be a real challenge for both of us since we have enjoyed our independence for many years. It will be a tremendous wrench for her though and I am doing my best to make my pad more homely for her. I'm a bloke, and for me a house has been more somewhere to rest my head rather than a loving home. Oh well, hopefully, the change of curtains etc will improve things along with her little bits and pieces here and there which mean so much. No more viewings on my property, but hopefully the home improvements will renew interest. Need to keep looking for a neutral place of course, and desperately hoping the converted barn will be ours, even if we have to wait a while.
It's at times like this that I really appreciate my holding in GBG. No good having savings in the bank or building society, but still have to be wise (as best I can).
Wonder if we are going to get more games here?.
Regards
CM
