Well there was 5 RNSs in February 2018, so yes it was news driven and the Mail article puts the seal on the news that was released.

The reason I mention this is for so long we get an item of news RNSed, that we have been waiting some time for and then we get a gap of a few months before the next news, which seems a lifetime in coming because words like in the short term have been used and our expectations for further news within a short time are always exceeded and by the time we get the news we have retraced and some and the news lacks the expectations that were built up waiting for it.

The reason I am highlighting it is when we got the RNS for the second collaboration the share rose 12/13%, but the very next day we got the Holdings RNS which drove the rise eventually to 50/60%. The Holdings RNS just added to the good news and together the share price was driven. Having had two collaborations already, news of the third one today was met with me by a WOW, and I wonder how many people didn"t think, well we have something here, rather than just another collaboration which we will have to wait some time in finding out more.

As I said earlier I think this rise has legs in it and I would hope for at least another 10% blue day today, and what I find exciting as last time is we could well get another good RNS even before the Interims which is only a short time away. So for me it is that combination of news, regular news, where we could and should capitalise on this year with so much news due or expected and the feeling of left field news seems more likely than ever. That is why I used the terms that I feel excited again and not like in the past feeling well thats our news, when will the next be.

So yes IMHO I think there will be another RNS along with the Interims and the momentum of regular news will take us to levels we haven"t seen for far too long, and I can imagine us asking ourselves which news was it that drove the SP? The answer I think will always be as in treatments these days...in combination with. Heres to that blue day today!!!....and a good chance of another RNS any day.

I didn"t think it was a very good article at all and didn"t catch any excitement that I think exists with todays news.

We had a conversation a couple of weeks back with Ruck about possible effevts on the M/Cap considering a few options. We all had a different opinion, but it was an impossible question really given so many possible scenarios.

I have October in mind for any further funding requirements, I believe that is when we sign off end April accounts, and given the 12 month estimate for time of collaboration we could well have 3 deals that fit that timeline, regardless of anything else that materialises by thenWell rare for me to be up this late, but just feeling genuinly excited with this news, the platform, the possibilities and Vulpes increasing their holding. I don"t think they are alone in doing that ATM. It has been a long time since I remember feeling so positive with so much potentialy happening as we speak, so looking forward to tomorrow, as ever, and some more blue, with the very real prospect of news on any given day. zzzzzzzzzzz

Thanks for the link Ivy. It doesn"t have a date on it but looking at the last paragraph on SCIB2, begs the question do they know something we don"t. That would be exceptional news at this time......................

There’s also Scancell Holdings PLC (LON:SCLP), which is working on two immuno-oncology technologies called ImmunoBody and Moditope.

The drug furthest down the clinical pathway is SCIB1, an antibody that stimulates the immune system to attack tumour cells expressing certain antigens.

A phase II trial of SCIB2 in skin cancer is due to get underway within a matter of weeks.

Becoming interesting isn"t it, that is 3 collaborations in less than 5 months. Regardless of press releases at the moment pretty sure the industry is taking note now, and the number of trades is rising of late. We finish the day like others on the last rise on the days high, I believe few would argue that we don"t have a buyer ATM, but would hope to see another 10% rise plus tomorrow.

Can"t remember a day where we saw two big jumps in the bid on the same day 6 to 6.50 and 6.70 to 7.20/

Looking good IMHO, amd perhaps the saying RNSs come like London buses could well be starting now, there are certainly enough items of news for that to be the case.

Bermuda, funny enough had never seen the article from 2010, although many references were made about Amy Dickinson a couple of years later. Just about half of those were in the Daily Mail too. Funny to think that was 9 years ago now, well funny if you have a good sense of humour!!! I seem to remember an FT article had a very positive effect on the SP at the time, but was never followed up. You have a very good filing system there Berm.

Moljen, something like that, what I do know we were so poor also the goal made little difference to me. Well done though a very good 3 points for your guys.

Still got that feeling there is another item of news to come with the Interims, perhaps before the end of this month. Any updates surely must include the SCIB1 trial and another good news RNS will take negative focus away from it being delayed. I still do think the chances of hearing we can re submit the IND to the FDA could be very real, there has certainly been time for Ichor and the FDA to sort out the issues under question.

Just saying it straight Ray, do you believe hospitals with research udgets to fill put out such positive articles to help direct funding into their trials?? Something i have long thought but never wanted to say.

But I do think this third collaboration will create a lot of interest in the Industry and for a second time in a month we hit over 40 trades, today 41, which is very rare for us. Be interesting to see volume tomorrow, last time the Holdings RNS built on a 13% rise for the second collaboration, we do have a buyer busy collecting more, nice 250k and 1m buys today and even taking off the 390k trades we had 2 x 150k buys Friday apart from a few hefty buys all last week.

Tremendous day, our third collaboration and looks like it is time for people to sit up and take more notice now. We could well have struck a bit of gold here.................not bad for a Biotech!!!
