I believe it was primarily for health reasons. I understand that sadly he suffers from a chronic degenerative disease which will increasingly limit his mobility and that he only sits on the board of companies based in Scotland now. As for his authenticity, all I can say is that I have had a conversation with David Evans via linkedin and he confirmed that he was indeed posting as NXC on Advfn. I wouldn't want anyone to take my word for it though and strongly suggest folks check for themselves. Earlier in the year he invited anyone who had doubts to contact him on 07740084452 or his email address at mbaconsultancy@aol.com.
As I said to you yesterday I am only too happy to accept your validation/opinion as to the authentacity of NFX/David Evans, but it went further for me that any comments I had made, which actually reflect my feelings to the ADVFN BB caused David any hurt whatsoever.
So on waking this morning, sipping my Yorkshire Tea, I gave David a call on the phone number you provided. What a charming man and we spent just under an hour chatting. It had really helped having met him at the first two AGMs in London to be able to put a face to the voice, and TBH we could have spoken for hours. A man of integrity and isnt it odd how as I remembered his health was worsening he too knew about mine, and I guess whilst we only spent a couple of minutes chatting about that, there is a certain bond between those of us with serious health issues have to one another, an empathy which provides for a better understanding at times.
Why did I call Him? Well I understand now why he posted on ADVFN and not here, where he is coming from, and understand any individuals need to put straight what is read through the vitriol that so unfortunately is so prevalent on these BBs, these days more than ever.
There were many questions I wanted to ask him, and remember as David has never posted here very few discussions over his posts have been had, and by the time we finished my own understanding was clearer as to the Story of Scancell pre 2010-now, less of course the last few years in his absence, but not his take on events.
So Bermuda thanks for that, I will not comment on our conversation or interpret what he means by certain explanations that would be wrong, but it just shows something which I am so aware of
