Morning, another interesting link, from the similar family of news concerning DrRod Hull, using the immune system to fight cancer or as Scancell said on many occasions ""harnessing the immune system to attack cancer" or words to that effect.
This one being different as even Dr Hull lost his intenstines and something else I believe and I had thought, by personal experience that the liver was the only organ that had the powers to heal and very quickly at that.
Wouldn"t that be something in years to come (Car-T took from conception in 1993 to Approval in 2017) if we could find the answers to those miracles that tell us it can be done. There is a terrible stigma and guilt amongst lung cancer sufferers, the obvious reason is they say up to 97% of lung cancers are down to smoking, even those who had given up decades ago were a statistic in those figures, but I am sure in the world of R & D they would seperate habitual smokers from those who did in another time.
Wasn"t that one of the purposes of our flirtation with the Bonnie Addario Clinic in U.S.A? And that is another item we haven"t heard about for so long, although disappointment with delays from The SCIB1 Combo trial could explain that, which was a great initiative that seemed to go no further.
Whilst on SCIB1 my views about hearing about patient acceptance for trials changed on being reminded we had stated we would be advised on each patients enrolment, as a result we presume no patients have been dosed even, but from many years of history here, things do and have changed. I don"t want to raise any false hopes on this one, but it is possible, and that amongst so many other things I look forward to hearing about in the Interims/Update. There could be so much that we just don"t know about, it is about time we did. Most of all lets hope it is good, and the market reacts well to it.
