Inanaco, enjoyed reading your posts, and totally agree with your comments about Vulpes and dilution. I have always said that IMHO Vulpes would have had a Plan B from the beginning and the further buying at 5.2p leading to a Holdings RNS shows I believe their commitment to Scancell.
Ivy you posted................
""Yes Vulpes involvement and support has been good but they are in profit so have a different perspective. If SCLP go for a £8m raise then if a wider raise which is likely as Vulpes taking a huge chunk may push them over 30% then it is likely ( based on previous history) it will be done at lower levels.""
Don"t really know what you mean by............"".Yes Vulpes involvement and support has been good but they are in profit so have a different perspective""
Well they have a ""paper profit"" the only perspective that is different IMHO is they are here long term, as they have said.
They certainly won"t be in profit if they had to sell in the market, so I believe the further purchase was a sign of confidence to shareholders, they know far better than any of us what is going on behind closed doors, and they will be looking for a big profit, risk/reward, which I believe will come with a commercial deal, whether that be with our collaborators or not. It might well fit in very nicely as I believe any raising will be around September/October, before the accounts are written down, which will near enough cover the years timeline for the collaborators. It was hardly a rampy Interims RNS, but there are real opportunities and inflection points to come, again IMHO
I am with Vulpes here, nobody puts up nigh on £6m without having a PlanB
