Wonder if we get anywhere near a Holdings RNS after this news, we certainly had a buyer last week picking up over 2m shares.

Momentum growing with Scancell antibody platform as third agreement signed





Scancell, the developer of novel immunotherapies for the treatment of cancer, is pleased to announce that it has signed a collaboration and non-exclusive research agreement with a US-based, clinical stage antibody company to assess monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) targeting tumour-associated glycans (TaGs) including those that have been enhanced with Scancell's proprietary AvidiMab™ technology.



This is the third collaboration agreement evaluating Scancell's pipeline of anti-TaG mAbs that have been engineered using the Company's AvidiMab™ technology; conferring these mAbs with the ability to directly kill tumour cells. Today's announcement follows prior agreements announced in September 2019 and December 2019.



TaGs are glycan motifs that are associated with tumour malignancies and these can be targeted by antibodies, including antibody drug conjugates (ADC) and also adoptive cell therapies such as chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells.



Under the terms of the collaboration and research agreement, this new collaboration partner will conduct preclinical studies to evaluate Scancell's anti-TaG mAbs for the treatment of cancer.

Scientists do move around to different projeects Lee Machedo has posted prety regularly on Twitter his thoughts. As he was a loss to Scancell Samantha Pastion was a huge gain from Adaptimmune who penned a deal last week on TCR.

It is the name of the game and both are good at what they do. I am delighted Paxton joined us on the TCR side.

Good post, the fact is it has worked on many patients, I wonder what has happened tp the many "miracle cures" some papers highlight from one patients data that we never hear about again??

Good posts guys amd one good very reason why in recent times we have wished Scancell luck more nd more along the way, as it seems luck has not been with us on our side along the way.

This Trigrid situation is one the BOD have taken a lot of stick for, but it is not one that even the powers of hindsight could have been foreseen, it is an exceptional example of just what can wrong, and the reason why there is no certainty in anything. What I like about both posts is they are pro active and rather than just moan have at least given examples of where we might turn it into our advantage. As ever we are not privy to BOD Discussions on this matter but I am sure it has fetured highly on the agenda, and I would like to think with Interims due, we will receive updates on a few items, key items. Hence why I feel we will not to wait too much longer for the possible outcomes to be released. To that effect I just feel the changes of reapplying for the IND could be the solution, and no I have no idea as to the shelf life of the vaccine mqnufactured just ideas as we all have. The backing we have received from Vulpes so far is never far from my thoughts, and the recent increase in their holdings gives off many positive thoughts. Not least of all someone is building again and I expect that to contiue until news is released. Vulpes would have known the situation then and even more so four weeks back as they added 3.5m nd this week alone over 2m has been added by somebody or somebodies.

So I am remaining positive and very hopeful of solutions being near and more possible partners coming om board. Much talk not necessarily warrented at this stage IMHO has been made over shelving SCIB1, well that is exactly the situation it is now, so not a solution. Happy to wait till end of month for news, no choice really, but Vulpes have not been put off Scancell by this situation so why should I be. ATB

Amazing after being walked down to the low 6"s, despite some very big buys we are kept rangebound with a very small blue day despite 600k odd more buys to sells. Should be an interesting week coming, will we see the accumalation growing around this level before news drops??

Is there something about the 390k trades that I am missing, i,e 390k sell 5.991 and 390k buy at either 6.20 or 6.19??

On a very low volume week there has been a significant buy on each and every day. I include 60k Tuesday and 81k Thursday as they were amongst the largest trades those days.

That totals 2.130m shares bought and the MMs have IMHO walked us down to the 6p mark, where today we have seen 1.080 bought and 390k sold. Wonder if Vulpes have been adding more?? or...............??

Interestingly, not so sure coincidence, but on Wednesday we had 2 x 200k trades, the first at 6.20, the second at 6.19, like todays 390k. The trades were 12 seconds apart today, 16 secs Wednesday, and I ruled out Bed & ISA mostly as the first trade in both cases was at 6.20.

Hi Keiny, looks like a 390k sell at 6p was cancelled replaced by 390k at 5.991 and the other 2 x 390k buys at 6.20 and 6.19, pretty much like a couple of days ago.

There were a few minutes before 2 x 150k buys at 6.17 and 6.27 over on NEX..............

So Volume 1.693m

Buys 1.161m

Sells 532m

BUT................the amount they will take is in excess of 220k now, looking good for more by the close.

Ask suddenly 6.05 from 6.10, something afoot, lol.
