Hi LL, because I do very little exercise I try and keep to 1000 calories a day, the beauty of fasting perhaps three days a week is you can cook a very good meal, up to 2000 calories and allow your system to digest it over 2 days. There are some excellent articles on the web, I ignore all the fad diets, the weight just comes back on quickly, but that works for me very well. That way you don"t have to without what you like, my only excemption is bread, sugar and any bakery items.
Yes, it is good for the digestive system to have a break, and you just get used to it, but it works for me because I don"t really have to do without the many things I like. GL to you.
