RNS 13th June 2022 - First patient dosed in Modi-1 Phase 1 clinical trial

Currently remains in an “encouraging” phase, based on news released to date by the company.

“Blockbuster” news still to arrive. Maybe even whip-cracking :-)

My view? Whilst an update is awaited, the trial is still very much alive. I’ll take that.

Particularly like the robotics opportunities within the engineering division, given the current drive for AI. Also they are clearly very fussy who they are looking to acquire and the price they will have to pay.

What I read on here, didn’t in any way align to the suggested “whipping up”. What was predicted, was that an ASCO related RNS would arrive on Friday, today, or possibly both. That wasn’t based on clairvoyance, or extrasensory perception etc. and the very clear reasoning was shared ie. the content of the historic ASCO relevant SCIB RNSs shared by Crumbs (on more than one occasion actually).

So the timing of the RNS was precisely bang on, as predicted. It was the content that didn’t carry the same level of up to date info as the referenced SCIB RNSs.

Not “whipping up” at all, surely.

Well, just a few more hours to go under the Modi-1 poster presentation at ASCO (Chicago 6 hours behind those in the UK I believe).

Wonder how many times the word “encouraging” will get used in conversation around data and whether “very” might just get slipped in ahead of that occasionally, entirely by accident of course :-)

Re “juicy”, I guess it depends how much data (juice) was in hand before the ASCO poster submission date. Todays RNS indicates to me, that is the line in the sand for what will be able to be discussed at ASCO.

Could be Crumbs, that our Friday / Monday RNS predictions both prove correct :-)

11% increase in Revs and 16% in Adj PBT simply does not equate to “little growth” and acquisitions are helping to fuel that growth, rather than being a “distraction”. This isn’t just my personal, blinkered view, the Stockopedia extract posted here fully aligns (as do all other related news feeds).

Full results in July should double underline all of this and of course not impossible there could be further company news in the interim.

FRP Share Price is down 30% in the last 6 months.
