Do I qualify as a bright newbie?

I’ve been here a year and also used to be a choirboy in my local parish church. Over 40 years ago mind.

Recent SP performance doesn’t reflect that view.

The other thing that wouldn’t surprise me, is some contract win / retention news. Maybe inside September results, or stand-alone before end of 2021. Fingers crossed.

Further depot expansion news as expected ahead of September results. Good news.

Suggest it’s the words “before too long” that suggest that it IS an under-researched and lazy statement.

To me that implies tapping shareholders for cash is just around the corner.

Not so.

Given that the needle-free Telegraph article was midweek, maybe there might be some weekend press coverage? Just for balance and to avoid any long exchange on ramp v. doom, I guess maybe that might not happen.

Topped up here. Not convinced all blame can be heaped on VLG leadership. Suspect they were lied to as well and over an extended period of time. HSG likely to become yesterday’s news very quickly and Dentyl is an excellent product which they won’t have a problem shifting. Core business strong and in an ongoing pandemic. Drop on news overdone.

I’d suggest any reference to 24 years, whilst perhaps factually correct, is a much skewed view in the context of news published to market in the last 2 months re COVIDITY.

Still think there is a good chance this will bounce back before the end of August. Mid-upper 70s perhaps.

There are elements of the TU that are negative of course but has the drop been overdone? I think so, however all IMO.

Just a reminder that the 5 Oxford based vacancies advertised on the Scancell website, are due to close tomorrow. I wonder if they attracted the high quality of candidates they were looking for. Let’s hope so and the team is further strengthened in turn enabling faster progress!

Interesting morning. I’d liken the market response to being like a Mining Share that has just uncovered a duster and has no more rigs ie. no future, needs massive investment etc.

Yes the TU isn’t what the market wanted but the drop totally overdone in my view given the positive elements of the update. I guess exaggerated by the fact the SP had just climbed to 100.

Whilst I wouldn’t attempt to argue that anything negative in the public domain is unwanted, I do believe it’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking that view is fully representative of the company performance. We all know that for every person who complains (and some are serial complainers who get off on that kind of thing and frankly, have nothing better to do) there are many more entirely satisfied but who don’t express that publicly. They will however continue to do business long term and make recommendations to others. As Pianista says, end of September will reveal all.
