Thanks for responses. It’s always interesting and helpful to hear different viewpoints when the conversation is neutral. Suggest there is consensus amongst most that the radio silence (however caused) is negative for SP performance but difference of opinion as to what level, amongst other factors. All good with me.

Sister - I do think the Results delay is a really big factor. I agree that the sector has taken a bashing but other companies are bouncing back. Check the 3 month SP graphs for Wincanton & Clipper, they are remarkably similar in terms of a tick up. Not so DX.

SP continues its downward spiral, although not a surprise to many on here. Some positive news required to halt that regression and toot suite. If that isn’t forthcoming inside the next couple of weeks, sub 25p has to be a real possibility. Couple of months back, I really didn’t think I’d be saying that.

As I understand it, COVAX is CEPIs response to COVID-19 and the intent behind that, is to accelerate the development and manufacture of COVID-19 vaccines. The COVAX programme is co-led by not just CEPI but GAVI & the WHO also. We know that both GAVI & the WHO are well aware of COVIDITY because it features on their webpages and so the point I make, is multiple leading organisations have Scancell on their radar, not just the CEPI funding piece. For balance, there are of course many other vaccines in trial on their radar, although low percentage of them are DNA based.

Fingers crossed for a positive week ahead.

PS65 - all points I agree with and wouldn’t contest. However there is still any negative market reaction to contend with. That was my immediate concern when I read the RNS. The statements made within are one thing but as it stands, we have no results and no idea when we will have.

Most of us agree, the news this week was very unwelcome. If we finish the week above 30p, I’ll consider that a result as believe it could have been far worse. Agree on stagnation as the SP is far more likely to drop than go up, until results are published. Not looking to take my money elsewhere just yet but my confidence has been knocked and to your point Sister, there are always other opportunities out there.

Keiny - hope you're right. I'm just making the point that although the Scancell specific news yesterday afternoon was positive, the UK indices overall today are down. Many shares well down on no news at all. Can't be helping.

Another way of looking at it perhaps, is that today’s drop would have been far more, had yesterday’s news not arrived. Plenty of red out there today.

In respect of the prominence of the positive news, maybe the RNS timing is in play. Regardless, it IS positive news and we’ll just have to wait for everyone to catch up :-)

Disappointing in the context of possible negative market reaction, is where I’m coming from.
