I’ve topped up my holding today, given my expectation of 40p+ before the end of 2021. Markets are jittery today and so my opinion is that this will soon be back above 34p in the near term. Just my opinion of course but backed with my hard earned.

Pianista - agree with you on difficulty in predicting short term SP movement, which is why I’m still looking to year end price. However this surely won’t slip back like it did following a positive update earlier in the year!

Well that’s a very pleasing Trading Update. £6M more revenue than expected, net cash up 37%, 15 more depots in the next 12 months.

Continues on an upward curve with no obvious blockers to that trajectory and if this isn’t 40p+ by the end of 2021, I’ll be very surprised.

In summary whilst yes there are published timelines, in a COVID world it is not beyond all possibility that they will flex and shorten. Not saying they will, just refreshing what was said.

"The expansion of our Maidstone depot is another positive step in our growth plans for DX Freight, and enables us to increase capacity and improve our service to existing customers. We plan to open further depots over the next twelve months as we accelerate our investment programme."

That will do nicely ahead of imminent financials! It also more or less guarantees a positive newsflow throughout the rest of 2021 as those depots open up.

Looking at 2021 RNS, if you remove Price Monitoring, Block Listing, Director Dealing, Holdings etc from the list, it really doesn’t leave much news there! 2 or 3 outside of those in 6+ months, of materiality.

I’m actually not in favour of pushing out RNS of little value and so can accept this given the industry but really hope for more newsflow in H2 given Chester’s long list of developments in the pipeline.

Seems we are tantalisingly close to something(s) that could be jaw-dropping. Here’s hoping the drip of newsflow in H1 becomes a torrent in H2 and we all get very wet :-)

Yep. Back on 21/05 I said I expected the SP to remain in the 34p-37p range until the July update landed. Proven now to be a little optimistic at the top end but almost within the predicted range. What I’m hoping for therefore, are results that push us further up that range and consolidate there, ahead of a push to 40p before year end. Let’s see what we get!

Maybe what is happening in South Africa (reported by their Sunday press today) will have some positive influence on COVIDITY trial approval decision timelines?

Would it be reasonable to say though, that the Committee & Submission dates for 2021 is dated 17/11/20 and the COVID situation in South Africa has changed between that date and now. What I’m getting at is the possibility of an extraordinary CTC Meeting being arranged before mid-August? Just a thought.

Hi Chester. Yes I agree with you. The sensitivity of the test and the ability of the person doing the test to follow all instructions correctly, are both in the mix.

This is why we need a 2nd gen pan-COVID vaccine at the double :-)

I did think about it but didn’t. Not because I’m not confident that 40p is coming this year but because I’m waiting on news elsewhere. Might still add if that pays off.

Think the press coverage leg of my accumulator is going down - unless someone else can save it!
