Far too much emotion on here about the SP. Today’s price action Is actually positive. Mm’s feeding off the weak and dip in gold to fill large orders, it’s so fecking obvious. Follow the BIG money they are rarely wrong

Zoom out and look at the 6 month trajectory and the consistent positive company updates.

Barring some kind of natural disaster this could be any price in 12 months

Further patience is absolutely required here but reality is that some have been invested for a long time and u can understand that there will be a degree of fatigue. The Aussies are new to GGP and don’t carry the scars that many of us do. So I kind of get the pressure on the SP. Having said that I’ve not sold a share and I think I’ll be rewarded for that in the future

PI’s selling and II’s hoovering up what they can.

I’m aware and also comfortable that we are currently at the mercy of those with deep pockets. We could find A sequel to HAV and it wouldn’t have much impact on the SP.

Having said that, there will come a time when all these broker upgrades and mysterious hefty unknown trades will come to fruition.

So sit back, treat the price action with contempt it deserves and wait until things settle down.

The only interest I have in the SP today would be the closing price, everything before 4.30pm is just noise imho

My take….

Profit is profit that no one can deny but the way I look at this is as follows

What is the downside here. Yes gold may pull back at some point and we may see £3.70/80 a share again in the next few weeks but in reality we are significantly undervalued given we have 3/4 of a $billion sat in the bank. For me our MC hasn’t got the potential of HAV priced in

So my decision is firmly based on the risks v rewards ie very little downside v potentially significant upside and that’s why I’m not selling a share. I’m not even tempted even though I’m up 200%

It’s easier to hold on to the losses than sell the gains but I’m going against that grain with GGP

When you listen to that there are many reasons to be optimistic for GGP. Value relative to peers, also SP performance compared to other producers in the last 6 months suggests we are lagging. My only nagging concern is that if and when the gold bull run takes a breather, given we are lagging behind peers you would expect less of impact to the downside but I’m not entirely confident that’s how it would play out.
