It is clear - if T wins he will aim to end the war - the deal would mean Ukraine losing some land but potentially getting a huge bone of money and incentives to sign it. It is not necessarily a bad deal - just a bad deal for War-Mongers and the ilk of them.

Well I didn't take long to decide and did just buy 20000 for the SIPP

I am underweight on divi shares, I used to be always overweight - so this brings in some payments as 50% of my portfolio is now growth shares/recovery share that do not pay divis. I do need to balance that off with some payers so this one seems to fit the bill. The low share price and x-divi date looming in 2 weeks offers further attraction although I am not planning to sell anytime soon. Best of luck to all in their investements.

I'm thinking of adding to SIPP but it is hard to make decisions on the FTSE shares as the goverment policies are so unstable. Tories were unpredictable but so is labour. Promise of no tax hikes dissappeared quickly as they raided the country for more and more tax. In the light of the new tax policies - is UKW a good bet or not? I am unsure as to how the labour regime or tax laws have negatively affected UKW. Any takes on this? Thanks!

I don't think people realise how lucky they be to buy at these levels. If you then leave it for a year and look back how on earth was it that low,? Or why didn't me/you/they/them take the opportunity. That's a question for each one to answer for themselves based on your preferred risk profile and appetite for small caps
